Turn It Up and Lay It Down Volume 4 is an instructional drummer's CD featuring NYC-based jazz musicians on piano, guitar, upright bass, and sax that will have you swingin' away at tempos starting at 100 beats per minute (BPM) and slowly getting faster and faster until you're blazing through grooves at 310 BPM! If you dig the vibe in those smooth, smoky bars this one's for you.
This CD is a great tool to help you improve in jazz drumming. The CD has about 47 minutes of straight practice. The songs start off simple and slow, and then they graudally get faster. This helps with technique and playing at different speeds. I have found this CD to be a huge help!
