The DocZac Handmaster Plus Exerciser is designed for anyone who wants to maintain or build hand strength. I've been stuck on the beginner stage for awhile due to a very un-flexible fretting hand (left hand). I would practice but I just couldn't get better. I took some time to research and then in, slow motion, I analyzed what happens when I change chords or move to a new note on a scale. I realized my finger movements were very dependent on one another and couldn't move freely. I also had very shaky left hand, due to finger tension and caffiene believe it or not. I ordered this product, as well has the finger weights set, and the hand grip exerciser. I've been using all three, for the past 4 days and I've already seen a very rewarding improvement in my playing skills. This product will not only stretch your fingers, but if you take the time to use this product, the guitar will feel much more natural when you play. It can improve speed, but let me just say that, if you warm-up and practice with any kind of resistance correctly then normal playing, in theory, should come easier. This product will primarily help you gain finger independence, which will improve your finger dexterity when playing chords and or scales. I would recommend this product as well as the two mentioned above. If you need help improving the fundamentals of your playing skills, then this product should help?.if you?re willing to practice. I bought this and a few other hand exercise tools on here to improve the health of my hands and increase dexterity and endurance for my guitar playing. This product works well, and helps get the blood flowing.
i've had tendonitis in both of my wrists for about 5 years and it has made guitar, bass, and piano playing very difficult. i wanted to try and strengthen my wrists, so i could play longer and without as much pain. i bought this little guy about a week ago and i LOVE IT!! after the first few days i noticed a difference in my playing and at my work. i would highly recommend this product to any aspiring musician or to anyone with wrist issues. good luck to all out there! :)
