The best value for a Hard Rock/Metal cab.

By STANISLAUS PALUCH

from San Diego, CA

Switchable 4-8 ohm option on the back of the cab. The speakers are fantastic and really help your amp shine. I play a Jim Root sig telecaster through a Hughes and Kettner Switchblade and the tone is really, really good. Any high gain tube amp will soar with this cab.

Eminence Inside!

By Branden Robertson

from Pittsburgh, PA

I bought this cabinet at a local Guitar Center store in Pennsylvania, where I first was able to try it out in the sound-proof room with the exact guitar I own (ESP LTD KH-25). That's a huge key in choosing a speaker cabinet - being able to test it out before buying. The only difference was the amp head; I had to use a Randall HT100 tube head in the room, but I own a Randall RT100H. Not quite the same, but still a tube head, so I got as close a sound match as possible. The Dime 4x12 300W cabinet is just bone-crushing. The base is there, the mid is there, and the treble is there...all the tone you need with zero noise or flutter or distortion (I mean tone distortion). The quality is just superb, from the cabinet itself to the sound. Make no mistake, though: this cab is heavy. I had a 120W Crate FlexWave and that one weighs probably 30-40 pounds less, it seems. Of course, four larger 75W speakers in the Dime would add more weight and size than 30W speakers in the Crate. The casters seem all right for now, but I wish they were larger. Moving it across carpet is kind of wonky. But my rig right now is just sounding awesome. I'm adding a Digitech RP 1000 multi effects pedal to my repertoire soon to give me more dynamic range of sound, but this cabinet takes everything I've thrown at it so far. The nice thing about buying it from the store floor is that the speakers were already broken in. The crispness of the sound blows me away and still does. You won't be disappointed whatsoever, trust me. This is the best cab I've heard yet and at a fraction of the cost of more popular brand names.

This is sick!!!

By Rick

from Fresno california

I bought this cab the other day I was sceptical at first but once I opened the box and hooked it up to my rig I threw the box away because i knew i was in dime bag heaven the highs were flying, the lows were tight and the mids were perfect. This cab can handle a load with its 300 watt capabilitys, once I got the sound I wanted I knew it was ment for me. the back of it was very cool the way this company set it up three 1/4 j acks and a switch to go from 4/8 ohms to 16 ohms and to top it with a cherry eminence speakers this cab is the real deal you want that professional sound with out spending a1000 or more get this cab now!!!!!!!!.

Cool & Flashy Cabs!

By Marv Mays

from Edon, OH

I ordered both a straight and a slant for my rig and I really dig these cabinets. They sound great with my high-gain ADA MP-2 based setup, and they look very cool. The covering is a black textured snakeskin print with silver piping around the face, and the grill cloth is black and silver sparkle. The look of these in person is much more interesting than any photo I've seen. At some point I do plan to add two more to complete my setup. I sure am glad I didn't go with the Marshall MA series cabinets!

DIME Cabinets Rock!

By Robert Moore

from Livermore California

This cab is freakin' cool! I've had Marshall 1960 cabs and this matches them pound for pound in every way. They are full of tone. I play a GK 400rg with a Dean ML ATF3000 Scary Cherry w/Floyd through it and You can't wipe the smile from my face! I also love the fact that these aren't $800 apiece like "some other people 's cabs". The mesh is glittery but with multi-colored lites on them they look like the stars at night. It's grown on me already in one evening. I'm going to get another for sure.
