Overview

Powered by DigiTech's AudioDNA™2 DSP processor, the RP70 includes detailed models of boutique stompboxes, amps, cabinets and effects. The RP70's tone and effect libraries allow you to quickly and easily get any sound you want. It's like having a music store at your disposal. From hot-rodded rock and roll to metal, the RP70 has everything you need to get the tones you want or need. To top it all off, the chorus and DigiTech Whammy™ effects can be re-arranged to go before the amp model or after — which ever you desire.

The RP70 features 1/4" a guitar input along with separate left and right 1/4" output jacks that can be connected to either an amplifier or mixer for direct recording with a press of the Amp/Mixer switch that engages the internal speaker cabinets for direct recording. Rounding off the outputs is a separate, stereo 1/8" headphone jack for practicing purposes. To control the wah and Whammy, connect any expression pedal to the 1/4" control input.

Because music isn't just about getting tones but writing songs, the RP70 also features 40 high-quality drum patterns to aid music creation and practice. Feeling sterile and need inspiration? Just turn on one of the drum patterns and see where it takes you.

well when i first got the pedal it was really awesome but a little confusing at first! but after a while it was hard to find the sound i really wanted, if you are looking for 80s sound you will not find it with this pedal but like metal or death metal you will! and after a while the up and down buttons is going out so i have to press really hard or even have to stomp on it:( so when you first get dont think its a stomp box you will brake it! but any ways its a okay pedal!

Stormeride

By

from Pa

Received the RP 70 two weeks ago. Purchased a used one and saved a little. No users manual but easily found on Digitech web site. Still trying to get use to some controls and setting my own sound settings. Preset ones nice to play with and test different strums. Drum machine nice to use to set the rhythm and good quality of variety to choose from. In closing nice beginner unit and practice unit.Too many adjustments needed for performance use to change unit settings for particular songs. Recommend for starter unit before buying a more expensive petal. "keep The Music Rocking"

Amazing pedal

All the tones are perfect. Great pedal for amp manipulation! I highly recommend this pedal. The price is amazing, probably underselling a little. Good thing too!

Takes Some Time To Get The Right Sound, But It's Worth It !!!!

By

from Woonsocket, R.I.

Mine just came in from UPS yesterday, after ordering it online from the Manchester, Ct. store . It was a used model which came with the box, manual, and the adapter in Mint condition. That included shipping and tax, so to me, that was a hell of a bargain. I'd been using a RP-50 for what seemed like forever, and wanted to upgrade without breaking the bank. When I saw this one on GC's used gear page, I immediately scooped it up and am glad that I did. When I looked through the manual, I couldn't believe the difference between the RP-50 and this as far as amp models were concerned. There was no comparison and the difference in tone was quite noticeable. Plus, you have several stomp boxes such as a Boss DS-1, Ibanez TS-9, etc to choose from, which the RP-50 doesn't have. My only gripe, was that it takes forever to get a good distorted tone out of this, but once you do, you don't want to let this pedal go. Of course it also depends what kind of Guitar and amp you're using as well. The plastic casing doesn't bother me because I don't stomp on these with my full weight like some people do, so longevity won't be a problem here. I could see myself using this on stage as part of my setup. Even if I had paid the full price tag for this, I'd say it's worth it.

High end, low price

By

from beaver falls, pa

I have a blast with this thing! It has a ton of great sounds. My brother has a much more expensive pedal board and this sounds just as good. He said he thinks it is just as good as this board. There are many great effects too and it has presets so you can access your favorite set ups quickly.

Great Effects Pedal, Could Use Some Work.

By

from Hauppauge New York

The Digitech Rp70 is a great multi effects pedal for any guitar player, There are alot of effects that sound amazing. But of course there are pros and cons to this product Pros: Affordable Great Sound Easy To set up Cons: Difficult to program effects Hard to activate bypass mode Generally Complicated I would Only suggest this product to people who have experience programming effects but even if your messing around it is a great effects pedal. Keep Rocking Everyone!

I purchased this pedal, and instantley...I was flat out confused, but once i figured it out, i was hooked. It can make any sound ever created by a guitarist and then some! I can even use it for my ESP ex-104 Bass, and i can replicate Anethesia(Pulling Teeth) Perfectley, Buy this Pedal, and it won't disappoint.

BUY IT NOW

I use the RP70 for all of the effects in my recordings with my TASCAM DP 02CF 8 channel recorder. Guitar, bass, vocals, and keyboard. A guitarist's dream. For recording on a very tight budget, BUY THE RP70 and the TASCAM DP 02CF.

Best pedal for under $100

By

from Columbus, Ohio

I got this pedal for christmas and was just happy to have a multi effects pedal and not have to buy it myself. I plugged it in and was immediatley impressed. It has a great selection of great sounding presets, tunings and allows you to easily put the effects and tunings of your choice into a customized channel. i plugged it into a squire guitar and a small 15 watt amp and it even made that sound good (yes a squire sounded good for once). Great pedal for and player of any experience or genre, buy this!
