Just what I was looking for.

By Steve Tarren

from Florence, KY

Comments about Digitech RP155 Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

I bought this effects unit about a month ago and I'm very happy with it. I also use a Boss ME-25 which is a good processor too, but I want something with a drummer machine built in that would not break the bank and at the same time since I have a unit with an expression pedal I didn't need something extra that costed more. After using this I hate to say it, but the distortion sounds 200% better than my Boss and the noice gate on this thing blows away the Boss unit. What I plan on doing is running those two processors together because that way I have all the sound I want and need. The best part I love about this unit is it is 1000 times more tweakable than the Boss with the software you can download for free from Digitech and there are a lot of websites that offer a lot of free user patches for this unit. Great job.

Comments about Digitech RP155 Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

Awesome learning/composing tool! Drum tracks are very rich sounding and the looper is just amazing! Purchased online and the ad still says there is an aux 1/8 input...bupkis. Still the best under 100 bucks ever spent.

Best Value

Comments about Digitech RP155 Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

This unit is great! I had a Fender Dec 30 and I replaced it with this. Better effects and cleaner sound. Buy one of these and an amp and you've got it all!

Comments about Digitech RP155 Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

This product is awesome!! It has everything you need in a pedal. The features are a little difficult to navigate at first but eventually it becomes a breeze. The looper is great for practicing riffs, scales, and soloing.

Comments about Digitech RP155 Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

Very Thorough, It has a large spectrum of effect with a really good tone. It has 30 tones to choose from as a quick start frame such as a metal scoop, a solo sound, A rock feel, A country tone,Blues, British, American, smooth. Or you can go into the main editor and choose from hundreds of sounds and effects. Very good pedal, durable also.

This is awesome

By Brock

from Crescent City, Florida

Comments about Digitech RP155 Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

This little guy packs a huge punch. I bought this a year ago while being bored on vacation and needing some shred action, and I was pleasantly surprised with how good this sounded going through my dad's terrible, broken bass amp (haha) even. I got home and put it in my home studio however, and I was a bit disappointed. Recording to computer is highly inadvisable, because it really doesn't come close to matching other brands, line 6's toneport series in terms of quality... plus those are a lot cheaper. I'd say if you're looking to shred and crank your amp up to 11... get this now, cause it sounds awesome. If you want to do some serious (although budget) recording on your computer, get yourself a toneport with pod farm.

Awesome Pedal!

By Jacob L.

from El Paso, TX

Comments about Digitech RP155 Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

This pedal is great, with nice clean and distortion sounds. As hard as this is to believe, I managed to get this pedal to sound like Gilmour!!! Added to that is a nice user interface, good effects, and USB recording. This is a great bargain for what its priced at. I would recommed this to any guitar player!

Great Pedal, Great Price

By Matthew

from Ivins, UT

Comments about Digitech RP155 Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

I bought this pedal a while ago, and I still love it! It can get great effects, tones, cabinets, etc. With a wide selection of effects, this pedal will not let you down! It is easy to use, and comes with 100 presets that are great! Creating your own effects is simple once you get the hang of it. The drum machine is a little, 'eh' but overall, it's great for a pedal, and great for the price! I highly recomend this!

Great pedal

By Rick

from Huntington Beach, CA

Comments about Digitech RP155 Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

This is my first pedal. I went back and forth between many models and mfgs. I selected this pedal because of cost, quality, and number of effects. I haven't been let down. It works great; better than expected. I love working with it on the computer as well. Fun and effective.

Great product

from Colorado Springs, CO

Comments about Digitech RP155 Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

For the money, a fantastic product. I was actually looking for a machine that could interface my guitar (MIM strat) with my computer, so I could play along with backing tracks on a headset. This has a nice selection of drum tracks AND pedal effects. It is easy to use, and made of metal. Very solid. I have owned a Fender G-Dec 3, and this beats it in terms of quality of effects, ease of use, and the ability to use it with either my Blues Junior or Champion 600 tube amps. It also has a software interface that you can download from the Digitech website, which provides even more options for the pedal effects. You need to supply your own USB cable, but this is pretty standard, same USB cable as you would use for a printer. It also has a built-in tuner, which seems more accurate than the clip-on tuner I was using. All in all, a very nice, useful, solid, fun product for not a lot of money.

Awesome all in one solutiuon

from Portland, ME

Comments about Digitech RP155 Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

100% impressed with this little beauty. The RP155 unit proved to be both easy to use and and great bargain solution for a beginner or someone on a budget. The sound is as good as any of the expensive effects boxes that only do one thing. My strat sounds amazing, and my mandolin has a new life when I plug this baby in! Ever hear a Mandolin through a Bass effect? The editing software is amazing and simple to use. Recommended for players of any skill level.

Good For What It Is

By Yash Parmar

from New Jersey

Comments about Digitech RP155 Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

First off, I bought this pedal solely for the purpose of late night practicing and looping, and for those purposes, it's great! It more or less sounds like some of my tube amps (Fender Twin, JCM900, Peavey Classic 50, VOX AC15) but obviously not as dynamic, but it gets the gist of the sound. The headphone output and the looper are probably what I use most for it's great for late night practicing and laying down some chords to solo over. Also a great beginner/first pedal for those who are just getting into pedals and don't wanna fork out the big bucks just yet. I wouldn't recommend using this as your main effect pedal for live usage by any means, maybe for delay/reverb/modulation in the FX loop but I would never run this in front of an amp. It's a great affordable practice tool, but don't overestimate its capabilities.

Good pedal

By Jacob Parks

from J.M.Parks

Comments about Digitech RP155 Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

I'm retired from my main job and I don't play on stage anymore either. I just record and jam at home. I like to play a wide range of music and play both electric and acoustic guitars. I bought the RP155 so I could change my sound without spending the hundreds of thousands of dollars you would put out for equipment to get the sounds programmed into this pedal. There are so many combinations one person will never try them all in a lifetime. I run it stereo into a Line 6 and a Acoustic brand acoustic amp. There is not a sound or style you can not reproduce with the RP155. I wish something like this had been available during my band days, late 60's through the 80's.

RP 155

By Alec Smith

from Katy, Texas

Comments about Digitech RP155 Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

This thing was awesome. I spent over an hour on it when I first got it and I didn't even get through all the presets. It is a lot of fun to play. This product was definetely worth the price. It is easy to use and I used it in my amp and with headphones. It sounds amazing no matter what. All the effects sound original and overall I am very pleased with it. Nothing has gone wrong with it yet and I hope nothign does!

Can't do better for the money

By Scott Wolfskill

from DeKalb, IL

Comments about Digitech RP155 Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

I have been playing guitar for a few years now and made the transition to electric almost a year ago. I needed a cheap multi-fx pedal that also had lots of good tone options. For the money, this is a solid choice. The tones are great, you can get anywhere from a soft-rock or blues sound to a heavy metal sound. The 20s looper is very handy, reverb and other effects good, the only thing is that while there are lots of delay options the pedal isn't very flexible playing live because you have to pre-set all of the options including delay. Simple solution is to buy a separate delay pedal but other than that you should be good to go. The pedal also includes a tuner which is pretty accurate. Some tuning pedals cost $100 alone, but with this you get a tuner AND all the other jazz. You can't do better for the money, get this pedal!
