This pedal is great! The delay has a really great range, especially with it having modulation delay, tape delay, reverse, and even looping option. The delay goes from 10 ms to 4 seconds! Also if you plug into the output 2, you can get a pingpong sounding delay which makes it really cool for intros. Also, if you use the modulation delay, with not much repeat and time, you can get a very rich chorus sounding delay. The loop option on this pedal is great. Even though the looping time might not be that long, you can still use it for many songs. This pedal is great if you are searching for a delay pedal, not hoping to spend over 100 dollars.

DigiTech DigiDelay Pedal

By Trisk

from Minneapolis, MN

Comments about DigiTech DigiDelay Digital Delay Pedal:

I like this pedal quite a bit. It is great for making complex sounding thrash sounds or solos with very simple strumming patterns. It is built like a tank, and loaded with all the echo features you could ever want, and a couple extras too. The tape slap echo is great fun, but the reverse echo just leaves me scratching my head. Maybe I just don't "get it," but the effect seems horribly inconsistent. Setting it to the correct rhythm and playing a simple scale results in a terribly inconsistent reverse reproduction that sounds like you don't know how to play guitar. It bounces back with half notes all the time, too. Beyond that, however, it is the best delay pedal out there. I tried them all and was drawn back to this one due to its rugged quality, multitude of features and relatively good price.

pretty cool delay pedal

By TheEdge40

Comments about DigiTech DigiDelay Digital Delay Pedal:

I got this delay pedal about two months ago and it is pretty cool. I like to use it for more of the newer alternative style. The delay isn't a normal echo effect it kinda sounds like one of those rain maker things. It makes a cool sound and is a great addition to my effects board. Get one today!!

Delay *few seconds pass* Delay

By Raven

from Dallas, TX

Comments about DigiTech DigiDelay Digital Delay Pedal:

This is my first true delay pedal that I recieved from a friend as a gift and I am amazed. This pedal will add a whole new set of things to a guitarists bag of tricks. This pedal will allow a person to weave together the most intricate guitar lines that people will ever hear. Timing is everything to get a good effect. Thumbs up from the Jaded pedal guy.

Tap Tempo

By Isaac Lamb

from Pendleton, IN

Comments about DigiTech DigiDelay Digital Delay Pedal:

I mainly got this pedal to play in church for lead guitar part and so far it's worked perfectly. While you can just dial in the speed you want the delay set at, by holding the switch for three seconds you activate tap tempo, where you can tap out the speed you want the delay set to. Extremely useful. The loop feature is nice, though the time is rather short and I would like slightly more than four seconds. But this is not a looper, it's a delay. And for the price, this is the best digital delay with a tap tempo you are going to find. Plus, it has reverse, tape, and modulation modes to go with it, along with a highly precise control on the first mode four millisecond control. Pros: Tap Tempo Lots of modes Cheap Durable Fine control Up to four seconds of delay Cons: Short Looper Cannot cut away original feed leaving only "wet" signal Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this pedal. Very simple, durable, cheap, easy to use, and covers all your bases.

Rock solid delay.

By Klisk

from Paterson NJ

Comments about DigiTech DigiDelay Digital Delay Pedal:

I love this delay. It's toneful, the analog emulation is extremely convincing, and there's more settings than you'll ever need. It does everything as described, though, and it doesn't suck tone. The enclosure is great. It's basically the perfect delay pedal in it's price range. Pair it with a true analog delay and your set will be complete. Also, here's some extra features I could point out: First of all, looping. The loop time is short, but it works in most situations, and is useful. Reverse -- Nice reverse effects, a la Radiohead, although you can hear the dry signal under it. Bummer. Finally, Cabinet Modeling. That's right, you can use this to record direct. It sounds a lot like mic'd mesa cabinet, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who plays without a real tube amp setup. It's solid enough for playing live. Studio grade. It's your perfect delay.

DIGITECH DIGIDELAY

By B. MacDonald

from Toronto, Canada

Comments about DigiTech DigiDelay Digital Delay Pedal:

This is an easy review. I love this freaking pedal. Mimics my friends Brian May pedal which he got with the guitar of the same name and gives me every type of delay sound I have been looking for. I used to use a RP150 pedal for dalay but I just couldn't get the right sound out of the thing, so I dumped it and got one of these and I am soooo happy I did. Try this, you will love it, I wouldn't buy a more expensive pedal until you tried this one. I have tried other delays, but this one just sounds right.

Digitech Delay

By michael capuano

from Claremont, CA

Comments about DigiTech DigiDelay Digital Delay Pedal:

This was the first Delay pedal I got and it was a pretty good choice. Its a pretty cheap pedal compared to whats around. I had a lot of good times gigging with this pedal. To be honest though the Boss or Line 6 delays seem to bring a lot more to the table. The boss dd-7 is my current choice and it blows this pedal out of the water. The digitech sounds a little thin compared to other delays. Overall though this is a solid pedal. You get what u pay for.

Great Pedal

By Steve

Comments about DigiTech DigiDelay Digital Delay Pedal:

Several delay types to choose from, stereo out, cab simulator, built to take abuse, and it doesn't suck tone. I like it so much, I have two of these on my pedal board.

Nice!

By Mike Gates

from Wilmington, DE

Comments about DigiTech DigiDelay Digital Delay Pedal:

I own this Digidelay pedal, and WOW it's a nice addiction to my arsenal! This has 7 different reverb selections, and independant Level. It does reverb though, so if you want it to sound like your picking fast with out the reverb getting in your way, this pedal isn't for you. Otherwise, the is a nice delay pedal, at an ok price.

Digital bordering-on Magical!

By Cantaloupe King

from Fresno, CA

Comments about DigiTech DigiDelay Digital Delay Pedal:

The many modes on the DigiDelay make it easy to pinpoint the right delay interval, especially the first 3 modes from 10MS to 4 seconds. This thing is easy enough to figure out and is so much prettier than those plain old BOSS pedals. The Loop function is a bit short but those with more creativity will find it sufficient. This pedal makes it easy for me to play my favorite delay-heavy songs. It really is magical how some boring lick can come alive with the proper delay. The DigiDelay is the proper delay, yours to explore.

Digidelay is the best IMO

By Johnny Roxx

from Las Vegas, NV

Comments about DigiTech DigiDelay Digital Delay Pedal:

Amazing tape delay simulation. Miles better than the Carbon Copy (which is true analog) - Great features and sound. No noise at all in my signal. I might buy another in case they stop making it. I love this thing!

Over and Over...

By Veloy

from Fresno, CA

Comments about DigiTech DigiDelay Digital Delay Pedal:

This is one of my first effects, and it's performed ever reliably and consistently held a space in my effects chain as it grew and grew. There is so much good stuff in this one box, and rarely do I play and decide to pass on using delay. It subtly adds so much feeling, style and atmosphere, with or without the stereo output. It's lots of fun, and a tool I've used to grow as a musician (guitarist, at least). This is easily an essential pedal, one I'm glad I own, and am better (musically) for doing so.

Wish it wasn't made in China...

By Robert Mune

from Glendale CA

Comments about DigiTech DigiDelay Digital Delay Pedal:

I like it so much I own two, (I also own the more expensive 'Hardwire' Delay/Looper). It's a good sounding delay pedal without harsh digital characteristics, The Tape and Mod settings both sound good but for me it is the backwards effect that is the most useful. Some have complained that you cannot have the signal entirely 'wet' ( a characteristic 'corrected' in the Hardwire version), but I think the X Series gets it right and this is a far more usable effect. Both of my examples show occasional switching issues which Digitech refuse to address but might perhaps be caused by the pedals thirst for high current.

Great Delay Pedal !!!

By Brad Engel

from Sacramento, California

Comments about DigiTech DigiDelay Digital Delay Pedal:

Solidly built and packed with features. Anybody who buys those other delay pedals is wasting their money. This thing does it all. I've played the drums for over 30 years. I've played electric guitar for about 6 years; acoustic for 20. I really like this pedal !!!!!!!!!!!! Very Happy I got it !

Comments about DigiTech DigiDelay Digital Delay Pedal:

This pedal is amazing. I got it and I am still milking it for everything it's worth. It's tape and chorus delay is what really get me. The loop is definatly something to master. All in all, great pedal.

I Returned It

By Michael Wong

from Boston MA

Comments about DigiTech DigiDelay Digital Delay Pedal:

There are a lot of features, but the tap tempo function and cab simulation is hard to activate. To activate tap tempo, you have to press the pedal to turn it on, press again, and hold for 3 seconds. To get out of tap tempo, you have to press and hold again for 3 seconds, and then press again to turn off. There's also a slight tone loss when the pedal is on. It's also hard to open the battery compartment. Unlike Boss pedals which usually have a knob that screws the compartment shut, you have to use two cable ends or anything similar to push two tabs on the side.

Missing Mix Knob

By Wood Not

from rky mtn

Comments about DigiTech DigiDelay Digital Delay Pedal:

I have the older blue version of this with 4 knobs and a selector switch for time delay category, so mine has a MIX knob but this new one doesn't. Many players prefer a 25% volume in the delay, not 50/50 factory setting.
