Playing LP guitar into Line6 Flextone amp, or Acoustic-Electric straight into mixer. This petal makes for a great, versatile chorus. The combinations of the 7 pedals allows for most blends I can think of. You can get unlimited chorus sounds from this pedal, but it does not save favorite settings, so if you wanted to change sounds on stage, you'd ahve to get down and tweak all the parameters of the pedal. Most users will probably pick their favorite sound and stick with it. Good value, since it costs half of what some of the pedals it models costs. Somehwhat better for recording, as the prep time between songs allows you to change parameters and dial in a specific tone. The sound is surprisingly good. I didn't think that a digital model would work so well. in A/B testing, I couldn't tell the difference.
As with most pedals of the caliber and strength of this one--I'm the owner of both this and an Expression Factory--you really MUST have a plug-in power supply. I particularly like how burly/well-built these Expression series pedals are. I only wish they came with the power supply. If you purchase, MAKE SURE you add the plug to your shopping cart!
I went looking for the Ibanez CF7, the chorus flanger pedal. I walked out with this, not knowing exactly what I was buying, admittedly. I know for sure though this thing is incredible. You can get just about any sound you want with this pedal. I play my Godin Exit 22 through this and it sounds awesome. If you're looking to buy a less expensive pedal, don't. Save up the money and get this one.
This pedal is build like a tank, and has amazing chorus tones. Really, really cool. A must-have.
