Good deal for the price

By Charlie

from Sarasota, Fl

Comments about Digital Reference DR-VX1 Buy One Get Two Free!:

They sound fine, seem to be well built, and the price is awesome. Be aware that they don't come with a cable, so you have to add about $10 each if you don't already have cables.

Solid Mic

By Jables

from Boise, ID

Comments about Digital Reference DR-VX1 Buy One Get Two Free!:

The mic is definitely not a high-end piece of equipment, but looking at the price range, this is a decent mic for general use. I've mic'd amps with it, and it picks up clean and distortion fairly well with little extra noise. I've also recorded vocals, which generally come in fairly clean but not spectacularly clear or warm. For the price, a decent mic. If you're going for a vocal specific mic, however, go with a condenser.
