Simply Put, Amazing!

By Immortal_Warrior

from Dallas, TX

Comments about Digital Reference DR-2505 Guitar Wireless System:

I purchased two of these units hours before a high-profile show for my other guitarist and me. We did not open these until right before soundcheck. We popped in the batteries found are frequencies, and, within minutes (about 2), we were up and running. The signal was strong, clear, and interference free. Not being tied down DRAMATICALLY improved our performance as well. This is a quality product any serious musicians hard-earned cash.

Truely Great Unit!!!!

By Primortal-bass

from detroit

Comments about Digital Reference DR-2505 Guitar Wireless System:

i bought this unit on a whim. i did very little research on it, but then picked it up about 6 months later. i absolutely love it!!! i played a very large stage over the last weekend, and had NO problems, sound was great, response was great, no complaints!! the only thing i had to do was change the channel on the transmitter to match the receiver, then turn up the transmitter's volume(inst) on the side of the unit, to match my amps actual volume, then everything else was a snap, just to forewarn new buyers, it take 2 AA batteries, so put away your 9 volts, lol, NEED A GOOD WIRELESS, this is the one!!! Audio Technica rules!!! Digital Reference is a guitar center (exclusive) name Buy with confidence!!

White Noise Generator

By T-bone

from Hemet

Comments about Digital Reference DR-2505 Guitar Wireless System:

Junk. Glitchy Hissy Junk. Sounds like listening to your guitar on a cheap 70's cassette tape recorder....in a wind storm....after being recorded on that same cheap 70's cassette recorder. Save your hard-earned dough. But I did get it for half off!....and now I know why....and it's going back tomorrow.

Great Performance Gear!

By Eric

from Minneapolis, Mn

Comments about Digital Reference DR-2505 Guitar Wireless System:

Bought it 4 years ago, and STILL runs like a champ, no noise, clear signal, and works great from ANY distance on stage, no loss. I dropped one star only because I feel like the jumper cable from the body-pack to guitar could have a little more solid connection at the body-pack side, the lock isn't as stable as I would like it. Pair with a dunlop wireless transmitter pouch and its stability central, without, I've had problems with the unit coming loose off my strap. I would buy it again in a heartbeat and am trying to locate more body-pack transmitters!! GET THIS IT WORKS FANTASTIC!

Not Up to Snuff for Me

By Do Do Brown

from Wash DC

Comments about Digital Reference DR-2505 Guitar Wireless System:

Bought this to replace +20 year old Nady product and can hear the degraded difference with my bass. I have to return it and get something better. It may work fine for guitar, but since I play both bass and guitar I need a system that works equally well for both.

A great wireless system

By Matt

from Camarillo, CA

Comments about Digital Reference DR-2505 Guitar Wireless System:

this is the very first wireless system ive had but ive played using other ones and this is by far the best. and whoever said that its just a white noise generator obviously didnt set it up right. it is very easy to set up, get your channel picked out, and just start playing free of cords.

Save your cash

By Bri Frehley

from Ft. Worth, TX

Comments about Digital Reference DR-2505 Guitar Wireless System:

I bought one of these earlier today, when I plugged it in to one of my guitars, I got nothing but a strange white noise humming noise. I tried another guitar, same thing. Then I ran it dry into the amp with my pedals, no system, the noise was gone. This is going back tomorrow, I need a better system.

VERY VERY HAPPY WITH THIS!

By Tyler Wintermeyer

from Kansas City, MO

Comments about Digital Reference DR-2505 Guitar Wireless System:

Guitar Center let me try this out in store before I bought it and set me up with an amp and guitar at the back of the store. I walked clear up to the front and there was no issue whatsoever! My band had a show that night and I thought, "What better way to truly put this to the test?" It worked perfectly with no loss in sound quality to my guitar tone. I could also go anywhere on stage with no problem. I am very ahppy with this and would recommend it to anyone. On another quick note. I believe the bad reviews on this product are due to people not learning how the product actually works. If you turn the volume up on the receiver up all the way, you will get a very annoying hissing sound and feedback really easily. The sweet spot is at about half way, NOT full volume. If you do that, it will sound perfect
