Got this for weddings. THis mike has no dead spots, it is an excellent value. Having a wireless mike at weddings adds a ton of fun. This mike makes it affordable and worth the investment. Plus for the price, it is a investment that will be paid back to you with the first gig you do with it. I was very impressed with the quality and value. The Mike housing is plastic, and feels cheap, but like I stated above, it is well worth the price. Outside of the plastic Mike, this has a range of 300' and you get at least that. We had people out in the parking lot,outside of the hall, and the mike was still picking up without a dead area.

We purchased the Digital Reference DR-3600 primarly for weddings as it is GREAT when doing the toast and grand entrance activities. Being able to stand at entrance and have the confidence that there will not be dead spots is priceless. Range of 300 ft is exceptional and it goes beyond that. Have stood in middle of parking lot and reception was great.Well over 300 feet. It is excellent for live preformance as well and does a great job with vocals.I also use it for auction service It has not failed me when auctioneering as well. Am getting ready to add a second. Great Price exceptional value

This mic was an amazing buy, we bought it with the thought that it would be ok until we could get a "better" one. But since we have added more of this microphones to our sound system. Excellent range, great sound and clarity for speech or singing. I actually pack this mic up and take it to every event I do because I am so comfortable with it's performance and reliability.
