Best for the price

Has all the features I was hoping to get in a unit that's very reasonably priced. I can't believe the sound quality of this unit. It seems as close to transparent as you can get. Gold connectors, strong signals, true diversity, more than a football field of range... I'm thrilled with the 3500. The only thing I wish were different is the body pack, I'm afraid that with time, the battery compartemnt door will wear loose. That's a small gripe and the only one. Just take the time to set it up properly (10 minutes tops) and you get more than what you payed for! Highly recommended.

Great Buy.

Great unit hasn't dropped out even once and has a good range. The only thing I didnt like is the flimsy belt clip on the remote pack and the fact that the body pack is made of plastic. That makes me a little nervous. Have owned it for about one month and no problems or breakage so far. I've dropped the body pack a couple times and it seems to be holding up.

GREAT!!!

Fantastic unit. My only problem with it is that the body pack is plastic. I wish that they would have made this out of steel like the rack unit.

Not bad for beginners

I purchased this unit on Friday and returned it on Saturday. Overall, it works well, has an input gain pot on the transmitter and an adjustment tool which is good. There is also an output level. The main problem with this unit is obvious if you play through a pedal or multi effects. I would get the levels set on the xmtr where all was sounding good for a clean setting, then when I would switch to a distorted patch on my pedal, the color of the sound changed dramatically from what it would be with a cord. If I then re adjusted the input level on the xmtr, it would sound acceptable. The problem here is of course that you can't very well make this adjustment while you are playing. If you use the same type of sound all the time or are not very critical about the reprodiction of your sound, this unit will do just fine. I have traded this unit "up" for a Shure PGX and will soon write a review for it.
