The Mbox 2 Pro has four analog inputs—2 combo XLR/TRS jacks, 2 TRS 1/4" jacks—and six 1/4" analog outputs. Two of the inputs are front panel Hi-Z instrument jacks. The XLR inputs have 48V phantom power for use with condenser microphones. It also has S/PDIF digital I/O; an RCA phono preamp input for direct turntable connection; dedicated studio monitor outputs with volume control; 2 stereo headphone outputs with independent volume controls and an alternate source switch; and MIDI I/O.
