The most irritating thing is registering and loading all the programs but if you do a few a day its not that hard... The best thing about a Pro Tools set up is you have the ability to send your sessions to the pros and have them mix/master your session with their set up... Its IMPOSSIBLE to have a HD system with LE but you will have the cutting edge and control that you would never imagine... Dont waste money on a program that the pros dont use... Pro Tools is in the biggest studios in the world for a reason!!!
...when I bought mine I had nothing but trouble installing the software/hardware into my p.c. with Windows 7. My computer crashed a few times during the install and the techs at Digidesign could not figure out what was up. Finally though, after I tried everything thing else, I reverted the firewire driver to an earlier one, and that seemed to fix the issue, although I do experience minor problems with the software not working properly occasionally.
I've made some pretty killer recordings with this beast and I gotta say that it was definitely a solid purchase! It came with a great software package and it's pretty easy to use (once you get used to using Protools anyway)
