This pedal is great! The delay has a really great range, especially with it having modulation delay, tape delay, reverse, and even looping option. The delay goes from 10 ms to 4 seconds! Also if you plug into the output 2, you can get a pingpong sounding delay which makes it really cool for intros. Also, if you use the modulation delay, with not much repeat and time, you can get a very rich chorus sounding delay. The loop option on this pedal is great. Even though the looping time might not be that long, you can still use it for many songs. This pedal is great if you are searching for a delay pedal, not hoping to spend over 100 dollars.

I Returned It

By Michael Wong

from Boston MA

There are a lot of features, but the tap tempo function and cab simulation is hard to activate. To activate tap tempo, you have to press the pedal to turn it on, press again, and hold for 3 seconds. To get out of tap tempo, you have to press and hold again for 3 seconds, and then press again to turn off. There's also a slight tone loss when the pedal is on. It's also hard to open the battery compartment. Unlike Boss pedals which usually have a knob that screws the compartment shut, you have to use two cable ends or anything similar to push two tabs on the side.

Great Delay Pedal !!!

By Brad Engel

from Sacramento, California

Solidly built and packed with features. Anybody who buys those other delay pedals is wasting their money. This thing does it all. I've played the drums for over 30 years. I've played electric guitar for about 6 years; acoustic for 20. I really like this pedal !!!!!!!!!!!! Very Happy I got it !

Tap Tempo

By Isaac Lamb

from Pendleton, IN

I mainly got this pedal to play in church for lead guitar part and so far it's worked perfectly. While you can just dial in the speed you want the delay set at, by holding the switch for three seconds you activate tap tempo, where you can tap out the speed you want the delay set to. Extremely useful. The loop feature is nice, though the time is rather short and I would like slightly more than four seconds. But this is not a looper, it's a delay. And for the price, this is the best digital delay with a tap tempo you are going to find. Plus, it has reverse, tape, and modulation modes to go with it, along with a highly precise control on the first mode four millisecond control. Pros: Tap Tempo Lots of modes Cheap Durable Fine control Up to four seconds of delay Cons: Short Looper Cannot cut away original feed leaving only "wet" signal Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this pedal. Very simple, durable, cheap, easy to use, and covers all your bases.

Wish it wasn't made in China...

By Robert Mune

from Glendale CA

I like it so much I own two, (I also own the more expensive 'Hardwire' Delay/Looper). It's a good sounding delay pedal without harsh digital characteristics, The Tape and Mod settings both sound good but for me it is the backwards effect that is the most useful. Some have complained that you cannot have the signal entirely 'wet' ( a characteristic 'corrected' in the Hardwire version), but I think the X Series gets it right and this is a far more usable effect. Both of my examples show occasional switching issues which Digitech refuse to address but might perhaps be caused by the pedals thirst for high current.

The sounds out this box is awesome! You can get great digital and some pretty good analog tones! Works best in the effects loop!..The only draw back is these things eats battery like tictacs! You MUST get the ac adapter for it!

Over and Over...

By Veloy

from Fresno, CA

This is one of my first effects, and it's performed ever reliably and consistently held a space in my effects chain as it grew and grew. There is so much good stuff in this one box, and rarely do I play and decide to pass on using delay. It subtly adds so much feeling, style and atmosphere, with or without the stereo output. It's lots of fun, and a tool I've used to grow as a musician (guitarist, at least). This is easily an essential pedal, one I'm glad I own, and am better (musically) for doing so.

Digitech Delay

By michael capuano

from Claremont, CA

This was the first Delay pedal I got and it was a pretty good choice. Its a pretty cheap pedal compared to whats around. I had a lot of good times gigging with this pedal. To be honest though the Boss or Line 6 delays seem to bring a lot more to the table. The boss dd-7 is my current choice and it blows this pedal out of the water. The digitech sounds a little thin compared to other delays. Overall though this is a solid pedal. You get what u pay for.

DIGITECH DIGIDELAY

By B. MacDonald

from Toronto, Canada

This is an easy review. I love this freaking pedal. Mimics my friends Brian May pedal which he got with the guitar of the same name and gives me every type of delay sound I have been looking for. I used to use a RP150 pedal for dalay but I just couldn't get the right sound out of the thing, so I dumped it and got one of these and I am soooo happy I did. Try this, you will love it, I wouldn't buy a more expensive pedal until you tried this one. I have tried other delays, but this one just sounds right.

Digidelay is the best IMO

By Johnny Roxx

from Las Vegas, NV

Amazing tape delay simulation. Miles better than the Carbon Copy (which is true analog) - Great features and sound. No noise at all in my signal. I might buy another in case they stop making it. I love this thing!
