About Digitech:

DigiTech, an offshoot of John Johnson and David DiFrancesco's DOD Electronics, was one of the first companies to develop digital effects for guitarists, and initially made its reputation with the DSP128, the first multi-effects processor, revolutionary in its ability to use three effects at once. They followed this with the IPS33, the first successful intelligent harmonizer for musical instruments.
