I Think Its Great
This was the first of two pedals that I have purchased. I've been playing for about 8 months, and I really like this pedal. I can match the sounds of these following songs pretty well with it.CCR "Up around the bend", Guns N Roses "Sweet Child O Mine" & "Knockin on heavens door", Kiss "God Gave Rock and Roll to you", Queen Bohemian rhapsody", Offspring "the kids aren't alright" Weezer, "fall together", Pearl Jam "dissident", any AC/DC song, Any Rage against the machine song (minus tom morello's insane solos), alot of Red hot chili peppers songs, white stripes style overdrive, and bluesy sublime solos.
All in all I really like this pedal even though I've only ever used one other pedal. The other pedal I own is a Marshall BB2 Bluesbraker 2. I like that less than the tone driver because It can't get the extreme tones like guns n roses or kiss. It is nice because it has a boost switch which is mainly what I have it on plugged in with the tone driver. For anybody that wants variety of tones for a relatively cheap price go for the tone driver. If I had to do it all over again, I'd buy the tone driver, and probably not get the bluesbraker. I doubt I will ever sell it. This thing has many tone varieties, but it dosn't have a fuzz tone. That is my only regret.

Awesome Overdrive Pedal!
I've owned the DigiTech XTD Tone Driver Overdrive Pedal since early 2006, and it rocks! This little stompbox provides some sweet overdrive tones! Use this with the DigiTech MultiChorus for a bit of dirty distortion, or combine with the MXR Blue Box for some hard-core rock sounds! These pedals are built like tanks, using metal construction; and produce high-quality, digital sound. Their metallic paint makes them look really cool, too! DigiTech X-Series pedals provide you with the most bang for your buck, and I highly recommend them! Make sure to grab a DigiTech AC power supply so you can save money on batteries!
