Digitech XSW Synth Wah

Oh for FUN! I love just fiddling around with the guitar to see what kind of insane sounds I can eek out of it, and this pedal is just GREAT for that task! The Envelope sounds at great personality to solos, while the various synth sounds can completely mask the fact that you are playing a guitar! If you are looking to create an incredibly unique sound for some of your songs, you'll love playing around with the Synth Wah!

Different, but amazing.

I got this pedal several months ago as a gift, and i have to say, its one of the most unique pedals i have ever used. All of the settings are very different and can be altered to produce a wide range of sounds on one effect, all the way from synthesysers to a phaser like effect, to what sounds much like an octaver, and one setting sounds alot like a talk box. One thing I enjoy about it is the ability to turn the sensitivity of the effect up or down, so, by plucking with more volume, you can make the effect start over(works great with eruption). The pedal is built like a brick. you could drop this thing off a building, and it would still play, and its heavy enough that it wont slide around on stage. The one thing i would say about this pedal, is that its a very unique sound, and there's not much music that uses it, so i use it more for making my own stuf. You might want to play the pedal before you buy it, but if you're looking for a truely unique effect, this is the one for you.

Two Words: MESSED UP

This is the craziest pedal I own. The sounds that come out of it make your guitar sound like it is from another planet. This pedal is great for making a guitar solo stand out. The tunings Digitech suggest are perfect for metal and hard rock. Since it is a Digitech, you are definitely getting a great product. So if you want a guitar pedal that makes your guitar sound unlike a guitar, buy this pedal.

Amazing Pedal!

If you are looking for an amazing pedal for a great price, get the Synth Wah. I sit down and play with this thing for hours! I personally love setting 3(Synth 1), but all of them are amazing. You can get a sound pretty close to a talk box (5 or 6) or cool filter sounds(1 or 2). You can get some pretty amazing sounds out of this baby. The only thing I don't care for is the Auto-Wah. I like my Cry Baby 535Q much better, but hey the 6 other features more than make up for this. I highly recommend this pedal.

werid as hell

its a pretty cool pedal it works great and its really nice if you have two amps cuz one can have the synth stuff and the other would be normal and you come up with some weird sound and one actually sounds like the atari took some crack and started spazing i would recommend to all who want really crazy sounds or looking for a pedal to just play around with
