dbx and DigiTech join forces to bring you one seriously heavy XBS Bass Squeeze Compression Pedal. Award-winning dbx OverEasy compression technology squeezes the best out of your bass. Great for controlling dynamics in the studio or rolling out a lush carpet of tight tone.
This pedal is dual band compressor, but to me it works almost like a compressor and an eq in one pedal, you can get tons of different tones from it. Doesn't breathe or pump even in the highest settings. This pedal is not for you if you want a transparent compressor, though. It definitely changes your sound.

This pedal is absolutly amazing, when I play a show this pedal never turns off. The way I have it set it gets rid of my bass's natural mid scoop and boosts my 5-string B and makes it sound fuller and a lot more audible. This pedal is a must for any bassist that does not have a Compressor built in Amp. It is worth mre than I paid and I love it.

This is the best Digitech compact pedal for guitars and bass. No doubt about it. If you have passive mics in your bass guitar, don´t worry, this kid does the job. Great Boost, Compression and Sustainer. The manual suggests three modes: Glass Top (to play jazz and classic music is fine), Mild Compression (to play rock is awesome) and Thick Bottom (if you need full gain and body). However, buy the power supply, the stompbox eats batteries!

I needed more treble and more of a cleaner punch and with my Boss ODB-3 it does some serious damage. For my style its perfect .... for other bass players out there who want to clean up the sound and this is the best pedal on the market. Dont look for anything else.

Have used this pedal for a few months now. it is a bit hissy at the higher level settings and it will drain a battery in about an hour. while running, it does work. deciding now if I'd rather buy the power supply or go to a multi-effect pedal. I use w/ active basses on a Peavy 450 watt head and SWR working man 4/10 cab.
