Limitless Vocal Creativity

I?ve owned this product since Dec. ?06 and it took a while to understand. I highly recommend reading the manual. I would say the same for the recording software. The best thing about this unit is the effects combinations which open up worlds of possibilities for vocalist. Things to beware of ? although it is possible to hook up other instruments into the unit at the same time I wouldn?t recommend it. The effects on this unit are geared more toward vocal performances and do not sound as great when applied to Guitars. Also, in a live performance trying to balance the levels of multiple inputs on this unit is very frustrating especially when moving from different effects. BUT?. When using the recording software it doesn?t matter as much because the tracks can be separated and the levels can be corrected on the finale mix. So if you are a Vocalist and would like to add some extra flavor to what you do I would highly recommend this product but be ready to spend some time with it. I would also recommend this product to Brass and Wind instrument players who Mic up and want to create something different. For All Guitar Players ? Find another processor STRICTLY for guitars.

Great for live performances

This is a great unit for the stage. I use this unit when I play solo gigs. The unit has many usable effects (I particularly like the delays). The unit is great for adding more depth to a live vocal presentation through your PA system. If you need to add a little flare to your act I would suggest getting this rugged built to last unit!

Sucks for live sound.

This devise sucks for live sound do to the fact that you can not get your pa loud enough without this thing giving major feedback. I sing metal and hardcore and I could not be heard when the other instruments were playing. I read all the forums including digitech and tried over a dozen different ways to set it up. I use a samson s83 powered mixer and just plug straight in to it and I'm loud enough. This may be good for recording but when you can't get loud enough to be heard(without feedback) what is the use. If you buy it for live sound good luck. I'm selling mine.
