Instant access to 77 models with lots of tweakability!

With the Digitech RP150 Guitar Multi Effects Pedal, accessing superbly detailed new models has never been easier. In three steps, you can dial in the perfect sound with DigiTech's Tone and Effects library knobs.

1. Pick one of 30 tone presets, 2. Pick one of 30 effects chains, 3. Dial in your effects level and rock on.

You may never go any deeper into the infinitely-tweakable RP interface. DigTech's RP tone and effects libraries let you access pre-designed combinations of models as fast as you can turn the knob. From mellow and bluesy to scorch-the-face-of-the-earth-raw, you're going to find combinations that fit your playing style. Modeling guitar processors with the raw power for real players and tone that deserves to be heard on stage and in the studio.

USB connectivity for recording, preset editing/archiving/downloading and more. The RP150 is ready to talk to your PC or Mac computer: it has a built-in 24-bit 2-in/2-out USB interface. Lay down tracks with your favorite multitrack DAW software. Play back a mix or MP3 cut directly through your RP150 effects pedal and jam along with it. Download a free copy of X-Edit Editor/Librarian from www.digitech.com and customize presets, upload and download new tones, including those from magazine web sites and DigiTech's own thriving online player community.

400% more horsepower. No wonder the DigiTech RP150 sounds so good. You're looking atthe world's most advanced audio processor, the "engine" that gives this generation of RP models so much more raw impact and subtle detail. Many other manufacturers use general-purpose, off-the-shelf chips. But creating the best guitar tone requires a 100% specialized, optimized processor. Being total audio processing fanatics, "Chip Wizard" engineers set out to create a super-processor specifically designed to power a whole new generation of effects and models. The design team worked for over two years, literally redefining audio signal processing at the chip level. Then DigiTech's "Tone Guru" engineers — fresh from Production Modeling triumphs like the Jimi Hendrix Experience Artist Series pedal — set to work taking advantage of all the raw processing power. When you hear what AudioDNA2 does for the tone of the RP150 guitar effects pedal, you'll agree it was all worth it.

fantastic

I bought the RP-150 a couple of weeks ago and I am having so much fun. I was able to assign my favorites pre-sets in a row so I did not have to spend a lot of time fumbling with pre-set numbers. The drum machine serves my purpose for practicing and coming up with ideas. I can even use this pedal during gigs.

New from the RP family...

I just bought this yesterday and bam! I already know how to use it. It's so easy to understand, but at first glance I was like "What is going on?!", but after an hour playing with it while reading the manual, I got how it works, it has so many effects! and guess what?! a thousand possibilities...still, I'm not getting the most of it(maybe few more hours). Im telling you, try it! You won't be disappointed.

The last effects box you'll ever need

The last effects box I had was a Multiverb 3 from back in the 80's that cost somewhere around $500 when it was brand new and it didn't do a quarter of the things this bad boy can. The pc capabilites alone are wirth the price that this unit is going for. And to stack all those effects, a tuner, and a drum machine on top of all that? I see this becoming one of the big sellers for 2007. If you are reading this review to find out if this thing is as good as it says it is? IT IS! GET IT! And if you don't eblieve me, head into the store and check it out! You won't be disappointed, even if you are an expert rocker.

Awesome unit!!!

The digitech rp 150 is a awesome unit!!Best for beginners or moderate players. Looking for a pedal to start out with? Look no further!! Rp 150 has usb port and capable of recording and you can program your own presets!! Want to have different sounding amps? No problem has seven different tube amps made in the chip and they sound good!!(Marshall 68,fender,etc)and also can switch the sound of the pickups of your guitar from humbucker to classic. Ton of cool effects(wahs, reverbs, digital sounds).I have read in other reviews that the rp 150 cuts the sound of your amp in half and that's only on certain channels. The reason is because the presets are tuned that way. Majority are loud and crisp!!!(remember you can make your own presets!!) The drum feature is cool. You can also hook two amps into this thing and also a port to connect another pedal. What a deal for the money !! I do not regret buying mine!!!

WoW.....but yet....

This thing is really cool...it has a very large range of effects and everything is so easy to control. You get more than you pay for when you buy this, but at the same time you get what you pay for. All the effects and distortions sound really good untill you start to turn the volume up higher. Otherwise this is a must buy.
