Product Information

Digitech's Integrated Effects Switching System takes multi effects to a whole new level.

Featuring unique stompbox and amp loops, the RP1000 guitar pedal from Digitech doesn't get in the way of your tone and switches external guitar effects pedals like large pro rigs. With Digitech's integrated effects switching system, no longer will you have to do the pedal tap dance—just select your preset and your tone is engaged, just the way you like it.

Your Amp
The Digitech RP1000 also features an Amp/Cabinet bypass switch that allows you to turn off the RP1000's internal amplifiers and cabinets so your amp's tone stands alone.

Simplicity of a Guitar Pedal
Popular on the Digitech RP500, the RP1000 multi-effects pedal also features the Pedalboard Mode that turns footswitches 6 through 10 into stompbox-style effect on/off controls.

100 different Pedalboards
When the Amp/Cabinet Bypass is used in conjunction with the Pedalboard mode, the RP1000 turns into 100 different pedalboards. You get instant access to both preset changes and stompbox on/off control—truly the best of both worlds.

The RP1000 guitar pedal is built like a tank from a cast-metal chassis to the 14 vacuum-style switches. A large 10 character LED display makes for easy stage use topped by a built-in expression pedal to control wahs, volume, whammy, and other parameters.

Your sound is king; the control of your sound is imperative. The RP1000 pedal gives you added control to express yourself the way you want—no longer will the lack of control stand in the way of your expression.

AWESOME

Just picked one of these up after months of researching, and I am so NOT disappointed. Replaced a large pedal train full of junk and cables, with 1 box!! Unlike the Pod Pro XT I alos have, and numerous other multi and midi effects, I was able to use on a gig the day I bought it, after bouncing around a few presets, by using the amp simulator (off) button. The Distortions and Amp Sims are great too, I just didn't have the time to set MY sound up...Looking forward to the day when I don't have to haul around anything more than this, my guitar and a few picks!!

This is the real deal

If you need versatility and great cleans and heavy distortions with lots of different types of effects rolled into one multi-effects unit this is the one. I tried out the X3 Live, GT-10, Tonelab, and this sounded the best to my ears and is very stage friendly. What I really like about it is that you have 5 patches per bank and can turn 5 different effects on and off for each patch. This makes it like having a whole different amp and stompbox selection for each patch which gives me lots of versatility. The amp and cab models are excellent. What makes it even better is that you can switch up the cabs if you want to fine tune the tone. The overdrives and distortions are excellent. I remember the first time I played one of the stock solo patches and how good it sounded compared to other multi-effects units I had been trying. The effects are also excellent bar none, especially the delays and the tremolo (biastrem). I have been playing for about 35 years and know professional quality tone when I hear it. This unit delivers and is the real deal.

Most versatile multi-effect ever!

I have owned this pedal for about a month and I must say it is the most amazing pedal out there. The ease of use is awesome. The loop feature is great and really easy to use, also, the tap delay is super nice. Being able to add or subtract effects to chosen presets on the fly is really sweet. The quality of sounds is incredible. Just the perfect pedal! If I could have asked for a custom pedal for myself, this is what I would have designed! Digitech, you read my mind! Thanks. Also, the free Tube Overdrive Pedal that came with the purchase is AMAZING! What a deal. Forever Digitech.
