Product Information

A diverse delay pedal with true hardwire bypass.

The DigiTech HardWire DL-8 is a delay and Looper effect pedal that features stereo I/O with selectable tails and a choice of 11 different delay types. Among the delays you can configure with the DL-8 are Analog, Lo-Fi, Tape, and Reverse. The DigiTech DL-8 pedal also provides up to 8 seconds of delay and 20 seconds of looping as well as functions like tap-tempo and more.

DigiTech HardWire pedals represent a commitment to quality and attention to subtle details. In addition to technical enhancements like true bypass and high voltage operation, all DigiTech HardWire guitar pedals feature rugged, all-metal construction, a wide, stage-stable footprint, durable, custom-machined metal knobs for a sure grip, and precision potentiometers that guarantee knob positions will stay intact.

The rugged, durable construction of DigiTech Extreme Performance Pedals is just the beginning. Inside each HardWire guitar pedal are technological features that serious players require all updated and improved to their utmost capacity. True bypass preserves the purity of your original tone as signal passes through the pedal, and high voltage operation further protects your sound by eliminating clipping and other signal degradation caused by power drain.

With the high-output pickups found on some electric guitars, it's not unusual to hear clipping when playing through an effects pedal. This occurs when the voltage range produced by an electric guitar's pickup is greater than the operating voltage of the effects pedal, normally limited to the voltage supplied by the effect's battery or power supply. DigiTech HardWire pedals incorporate circuitry that increases the operating voltage headroom above that of the typical pedal. That means the HardWire DL-8 delay looper pedal can work with a wider range of guitars and is also at home in your amplifier's effects loop.

Great sounds, great quality, great features this pedal has it all. Order today.

sweet.

sweet pedal. i was utilizing three of the Line6 DL-4 models but since this pedal came out i switched to three of these and one DL-4. the looping system is so much less complicated and it's live looping capabilities take the down time in between songs where i have to play and record all of my loops completely away. the digital delay usually works as good as any competitor and the reverse, tape and analog settings are wonderful compared to the other pedals attempting these features. i highly recommend.

no tone change with this one

hey. just wanted to let anyone know who is looking for a delay that this one is worthy. i had a boss dd3 and it changed the tone of my signal when not engaged. i did not like that at all. you may not know it but most pedals are adding a buffer even when not engaged that changes your signal for the worse. this takes away a small bit of treble and balls from the signal. unplug all your pedals and go straight into the amp with a cord thats not 30 feet long, under 20 preferably. and you will hear a difference when you compare the pedaled rig and without pedals. the digitech delay has true bypass so when unengaged it does not shape the signal. i bought it just for this and it sounds pretty good as well. good features. i am happy with it. dont buy the boss product unless you want a different signal reaching the amp. i rum a 100 watt tube head and play a les paul. i could hear the difference with the other pedals that add buffer right away. dunlop and vox wah's all do this. i will be modifying mine next.

Niiice!!!!

I bought this pedal today... I chose this one over the boss loop pedal because its not only a loop pedal its a delay pedal and cheaper. digitechs new line hardwire is really impressive... the only complaint is it needs more loop time but it is really easy to use compared to the boss loop pedal.

Solid Pedal

This pedal is the best bang for its buck no doubt. Tons of ways to tweak the delay and the true bypass works well. The looping system is great for practicing soloing over a jazz or alternative rock riff. The design is rugged, and even comes with a cover for the knobs so you don't kick them by accident. If your looking for an efficient pedal that loops and gives great delay look no further. This product is top of the line.
