Product Information

Blazing metal distortion with true bypass.

The DigiTech HardWire Series TL-2 is a metal distortion pedal that lets you pick your poison. Metal can come at you fast, with tight low-end and a crunching top — or stalk you slowly with a low, throaty roar that sizzles on the high end. The TL-2 distortion pedal's Tight/Loose switch controls the "tightness" of the low end and adjusts the midrange frequency to provide the best overall tone. Level, Gain, and Low, Mid and High tone controls with sweepable midrange allow you to dial in any tone with ease.

The HardWire pedals series represents the DigiTech commitment to quality and attention to subtle details. In addition to technical enhancements like true bypass and high voltage operation, all HardWire pedals feature rugged, all-metal construction, a wide, stage-stable footprint, durable, custom-machined metal knobs for a sure grip, and precision potentiometers that guarantee knob positions will stay intact.

The rugged, durable construction of Extreme Performance Pedals is just the beginning. Inside each HardWire pedal are technological features that serious players require — all updated and improved to their utmost capacity. True bypass preserves the purity of your original tone as signal passes through the pedal, and high voltage operation further protects your sound by eliminating clipping and other signal degradation caused by power drain.

With the high-output pickups found on some electric guitars, it's not unusual to hear clipping when playing through an effects pedal. This occurs when the voltage range produced by a guitar's pickup is greater than the operating voltage of the effects pedal — normally limited to the voltage supplied by the effect's battery or power supply. HardWire pedals incorporate circuitry that increases the operating voltage headroom above that of the typical pedal. As such, HardWire pedals benefit a wider range of guitars and are also at home in an amplifier's effects loop.

With our Guaranteed Lowest Price, you can be assured of complete satisfaction and the lowest available price, or your money back!

Metal.

My friends have the Boss Metal Zone pedal, and sure its not like it doesn't do anything, it just wasn't "metal" enough, not enough low I mean. But then I was introduced to this petal, and all I said was metal. It can go low like Fear Factory and Pantera, but with out blowing out a small practice amp. The "tight" and "Loose" switch is a great adition, but don't expect that practice amp to last with the low all the way up on loose. This petal will take some time to find that sweet spot, but once you do. Rock on.

Friggin Amazing pedal.

This pedal is pure genius. I tried this pedal at my local store up against the Metalcore, Metal muff and this one stood out.. This one has that Pantera-ness with heavy metal fuzz. It roars and gives you that professional sound that you want out of a pedal. This will make you sound like all of your favourite metal bands. This is the ONLY metal pedal to get.

WOW, I want 2

Wow, I was wondering about how the new digitech Hardwires were going to sound. I only use Digitech pedals, and I wanted a little more. I use the Metal Master, and this one kicks some series butt. So now I use both metal pedals. for diferent sounds. i love both the tight and loose setting. And I was amazed at how the highs come out more clearer, and just add a little chorus and the sound is even more amazing. If you're in the market for a good distortion pedal look no further than the TL2 pedal, it just works for everyone.

In Shock.

I bought this pedal, took great care of it, and loved the sound. It crapped out on me yesterday for no reason, and I am at a loss. I love digitech, and feel sucker punched that this pedal gave out. Perhaps I just got a bad one? Who knows.
