The DigiTech Death Metal Distortion Pedal gives you the most extreme distortion you will ever hear. Simply put, the gain is turned up to eleven and then the knob is ripped off. Level, Low, Mid, and High tone controls provide flexible tone shaping so even though the distortion is over the top, your guitar is guaranteed to slice through. Low, Mid, and High tone controls give you the flexibility to boost or cut the bass, middle, and treble frequencies and the Level knob boosts the output level of your signal. I bought this pedal three weks ago and I was impressed. This pedal gives you metal tone like no other. It makes shredding notes come out clearly and mutes sound like your in a studio. this guitar is good for pinch harmonics and will make heavy tone easy to recieve. If you want heavy tone that doesnt sound cheap or crappy buy this pedal its low priced and sounds great. P.S. I suggest that you use death scoop as your effect it sound more metal. Also if u are worried about using it with cheaper gear trust me it sound like a les paul through a marshall stack. Hope you like this pedal as much as i did. It also is built like a tank.
This pedal has some of the best metal distortion I have ever heard. It's not good for anything else though just metal. Best metal distortion for the price. BUY IT NOW!
I just recently got this pedal and i really think it was a good buy. It performs face melting solos. I am a fan of heavy metal and this kicks my other pedals in the butt. It gives great tones in dropped "d" and "e" I will never get rid of this pedal. Another thing is if you have a stock guitar with no extra the original thing it will still give you the heavy metal tone you are looking for. I have a B.C.Rich mocking bird that has the original pickups and everything and it sounds like it was tricked out. this is a great buy.
