I just purchased this earlier this evening, and boy am I impressed. Solid package, with the tones, and effects I need, simple to dial in and store, and I LOVE the amp and cabinet modeling. It's already given the song my band has new dimensions, just by changing the amp and cabinet models. Playing an Ampeg or Mesa amp head through a Fender Bassman or Ampeg 8x10 cab model rocks! Plus the additon of a fretless modeler does wonders or ballads!Highly recommended!
I looked at the Deltalabs thing, the line 6 bass pod and the Boss ME-20B and for what I need this is the best! I was looking for nice chorus, great compression, great delay some fuzz and most importantly noise gate. I you were looking to buy a chorus and noise gate pedal alone you are going to pay more for this. Pros: Everything above I mentioned. Cons: Switching between effects could be rough live but with 40 patches, you can set up patterns for certain songs and store them closely together. I love it. I am using a Fender J Deluxe, Acoustic 200w head and 2- 1x15 cabinets and I am soooo beyond satisfied. I can get anyones sound, just give me 3 minutes! Kicks the crap out of anyting in the 100-200 dollar range. Volume pedal is a plus as well for shows cuz you can fade in on parts in slow songs and such..... OHHHH I almost forgot. I really like this pedal. It is sturdy and a good value. It makes an awesome first processor. Tons and tons of effects to mix and match and choose from. Some of the effects, however, sound very weird and I have no idea when I will use them, but that comes with the hundreds of effects it has. I would recommend this to begginers or people on a budget. If you have a bigger budget, go for something nicer. Overall, its a great value and an awesome multieffects pedal.
