The Diezel Hagen 100W head is, frankly, an absolute beast of an amp for modern metal players, made to melt faces and blow minds with punishing tone and plenty of wattage to back it up.
It features four independent channels — Clean, Crunch, Mega and Lead — with five-band EQ, and master controls for Deep, Presence and two master Volume knobs that can be used for a lead boost. On the front panel, the Hagen also has toggles for each of the four channels as well as the Master 2 volume, the FX loop, a mute mode, and a Store switch when programming setting into the optional Diezel Columbus or other midi controller to be able to call up a number of settings with just the click of a footswitch.
Around the back lies In and Thru midi inputs, a dedicated XLR Columbus footswitch input, Send and Return for a switchable FX loop, Send and Return for a serial FX loop and Send and Return for a Parallel FX loop, as well as a Tuner out, Compensated out, and 1/4" mono input for the optional FS7HA footswitch that controls channel switching, Master 2 volume switching, switchable FX loop on/off and Mute on/off for full control of the tone monster. And the screaming high-gain tone is accomplished with a set of six 12AX7 preamp tubes and four KT77 power amp tubes.
