It features a clean channel and two distinct high gain settings in Channel 2. The Diamond Amplification Phantom tube guitar amp head has a more traditional high gain structure. Take you favorite amp and inject steroids and decongestants into, and you have the Phantom. Channel 2 also features DA's signature dual volume/gain design. This feature gives the player the option of having two gain settings that are accessible on the fly.
The Phantom features DA's signature "low focus" switch on the rear panel. The low focus switch provides three positions--low, mid and high. The Phantom also features an effects loop. Just plug a cable into the effects send and the loop activates. The front panel features a master volume, which reads E. Return. When the loop is on, the E. Return knob acts as the amp's overall master.
Built using the highest quality components and construction. Every component was selected and tested for this head. It uses six 12AX7 preamp tubes and four Svetlana "Winged C" EL34 tubes in its power stage. A hexagon pattern perforated metal grille made in 16-guage steel with a unique silver vein finish offers the Phantom eye-grabbing good looks.

Comments about Diamond Amplification Phantom USA Custom Series 100W Modern Tube Guitar Amp Head:
The Diamond Phantom is the amp every one dreams of. The clean is so clean that you can play Sweet jazz and blues without any break up whatsoever. Both dirty channels are so amazing that speed metal is at it's max. Gain A can be used more for classic rock since it can really capture the brown sound. Gain B can rip everyone's face off with the metal type gain it contains. To make the leads superior, I recommend to put Gain B to at least 7 or 8 and throw a tube screamer with the drive at the minimum to get the top lead tone.
