Perfect For Smaller Pedaltrain Boards

Comments about Diago PS01 Powerstation Power Supply:

As a gigging guitarist I have different sized pedalboards to suit various gig, jamming and practice situations. On my larger board I use a Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2 Plus that's mounted underneath but couldn't find a brick type power supply that was small enough to mount underneath my smaller Pedaltrain Nano and Metro boards, which only have 1.4" clearance from the floor.

The Diago PS01 is the only power supply I've found (other than a rechargeable lithium battery type supply), that is thin enough (approx. 1.1" tall) to be mounted under my small Pedaltrain boards, and it's light enough to be securely attached with velcro.

While I initially bought the PS01 for its size, I've also found it to be reliable, quiet, and cool running (the transformer doesn't get hot). The brick and supplied cables are solid, and it easily powers all of my 9v pedals. I also like that the power cord is separate from the transformer and that the gauge used on the power cord seems to provide better protection, shielding and durability than what you'd get with a wall wart type supply. And finally, the transformer has a power indicator light. Not a big deal but if you mount the PS01 face up under your Pedaltrain board, you'll get to see the power indicator light I've found it to be handy to actually know whether you have power running to your pedals.

Yes, it's much more expensive than something like a One Spot and maybe overkill for a small board. But the ability to mount the power supply under my small boards was just a major plus for me and the reliability and build quality of the PS01 turned out to be more than I initially bargained for. I bought my first Diago PS01 over 2 years ago, used it heavily... and it still works great, so I just recently bought another for my new Metro 18 board.

      Better Late Than Never

Comments about Diago PS01 Powerstation Power Supply:

I've only owned one of these for a few months now, and haven't had the opportunity to use it for any great length of time. However, I can attest to a few key things about this device: 1, it will power a Line 6 M13 Multi-Effects Pedal, an Ibanez TS-9 Tube Screamer Pedal, a Morley Mini Volume Pedal, a Johnson J-Station and a Boss Stereo Chorus Pedal, ALL at the same time with no problems or interruptions whatsoever. 2, The power is super clean. No buzz or other noise can be heard. The only thing(s) that I wish were different about it are, 1, that the chassis were metal vs. plastic, and/or 2, that the "central" cable that you attached the multi-fan connections to were longer. This would allow you to keep it further away from the pedals, lest it get stepped on and/or accidentally crushed or broken. Otherwise, it's an outstanding little device. You'll save a fortune on individual power supplies; to say nothing about the space! Great purchase, very happy with it.
