Overview

The fabric conforms to your body and adds a new level of comfort, yet it is strong enough to hold over 150 pounds!

Nylon ClipLock Quick Release Guitar Straps adjust in length from 43 to 63 inches (109 -160 cm), measured between the strap buttons.

DiMarzio ClipLock Quick Release Guitar Straps were the first to feature the heavy-duty plastic clip that allows you to easily change from guitar to guitar with a little fingertip pressure. It is the most secure and unique fastening method available to safeguard your guitar.

ClipLock Quick Release Guitar Straps have been used for years by Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Yngwie Malmsteen, John Petrucci and many other professional musicians.

They are the industry standard for strength, security and quality. ClipLock Quick Release Guitar Straps completely replace your strap buttons and attach securely to your guitar with two sturdy bushings and extra-long screws sized to fit the strap bushing screw holes on most electric guitars and basses.

All ClipLock straps are 2" wide.

For some reason my review was published with 5 stars previously. It should have been one star. Here is the review: For the life of me I cannot figure out why these are so popular. In my experience with them they are just garbage. The point of a strap is to protect your pride and joy and to be comfortable while adding a bit of style. This does none of those things. To start with the mounting screws are far too weak to put up with actual gigging. If you only strap up a few times every few weeks, then you may be able to get by. If you are a serious musician you will find that any guitar or bass with... any sort of weight to it at all will cause the screws to bend inside the body and eventually fail. Next is the plastic clip design. What is the point of this? All it is going to do is wear out and break. You have to buy the entire setup so there is no saving money by switching out the strap from guitar to guitar. It just does not make any sense. So far as looks and comfort are concerned, this thing fails miserably. It is basically made from a lower-grade version of seat belt material. It is available is a wide variety of colors, but they all look cheap and that is because they are cheap. They are not thick nor wide enough to help distribute the weight of a quality guitar or bass so comfort is out. I suggest buying a real set of strap locks (I prefer Schaller thought the dual-design Dunlop is a great option as well) and quality straps and giving your guitar and your investment the respect you and they deserve. Don't bother with this thing.

Comments about DiMarzio 2" Nylon ClipLock Guitar Strap:

I use this strap for playing bass and doing some shows and if you move around a lot with your bass while performing and you are wearing a bra, the plastic rectangular part of the front of the strap sinks into your bra and gets really annoying after a while and pulls your shirt down so be careful

Comments about DiMarzio 2" Nylon ClipLock Guitar Strap:

I figured this would be a good single strap solution for switching between guitars with different strap button orientations; Les Paul (button on the top), Gretsch (button on the back). And it is. And the strap is light and comfortable, but a little too thin to securely clip on my wireless. It slid down and then eventually off the strap, but securing it with a velcro strap solved that. The clips, however! Those little suckers mean business and they will pinch you if you get a finger in the way! Also it's very awkward to clip them in while holding the guitar, clip 'em in while it's still in the stand.

Comments about DiMarzio 2" Nylon ClipLock Guitar Strap:

Excellent strap. Easy to install, sturdy and good-looking overall. I love the material it's made out of. It's super comfortable even for long wear and adds a great touch to my beautiful bass. Bought this based on user reviews and was not disappointed in the slightest! This product is definitely worth the buy, and you're in luck because at less than $20 this thing is unbeatable.

        This was NOT a gift!

I love how versatile the system is to use, and how easy it is to switch from one guitar to another. Great for gigging musicians with multiple guitars. Works great when using a wireless system. Buy this. No questions. Just do it and I promise you won't regret it at all.

Comments about DiMarzio 2" Nylon ClipLock Guitar Strap:

I noticed that a lot of bands that I listened to using this strap, so after watching a few videos about them on YouTube, I ordered one for my bass (Fender Mark Hoppus Signature). These things are easy to install and they are a joy to use. They're easy to adjust, and the material makes it easy to change the guitar/bass's position so you can play it at whatever angle you please. One of the only cons that I can imagine is that it may make resale difficult, so just in case you want to sell the instrument you should keep the original strap pegs. Overall, this is a great strap and I'll be putting it on every bass I get in the future.

        The ONLY strap worth buying

        By The Lurch

        from Las Vegas, NV

Comments about DiMarzio 2" Nylon ClipLock Guitar Strap:

I got my first guitar for christmas when I was 8 years old and it had one of these straps attached to it. Nearly 13 years later, that same strap is still in like-new condition with every day use, clips and all. Now I don't buy a guitar or a bass without adding one of these to the receipt - even all of my steel string acoustics have them. Perfect for slinging your axe over your back for transport, never having to worry about a hole sliding off of a tiny button and having your expensive instrument go crashing to the ground. They are built to withstand over 100 pounds (though, what the heck are you doing putting that much weight on it?!). I have fibromyalgia, which means a hypersensitivity to pain, and these straps provide me NO discomfort whatsoever. With every band I've been in, the other string players switch to these straps VERY quickly when they see what a difference ClipLock straps make. I simply can't recommend these straps enough.

        The only straps I use.

Comments about DiMarzio 2" Nylon ClipLock Guitar Strap:

Literally the best straps for any guitarist to have no matter what you personal preference is. They are incredibly easy to install, and offer the option for different screws if you have a Stratocaster type guitar or SG type. They have been the only strap locks I have used for years now, and I can't seem to find anything that can compare for the price and durability. Also extremely convenient, whenever I want a new color to my strap, I just strap on something else, and continue playing without hesitation. You will not regret getting this at all.
