DiMarzio Instrument Cables are top-rated by Guitar Player Magazine. They easily passed Guitar Player's "Zildjian cymbal guillotine test" and "jump rope test" of 9/97, demonstrating how well built and reliable they are in real world conditions. In order to carry the DiMarzio name, they have to sound great too. Guitar Player describes them as "quiet and transparent with a clear balance from lows to highs." They sonically outperform cables costing many times their price. They are noise-free when they are moved and are 100% shielded with a combination braided shield and carbon jacket. They are low capacitance, measured by Guitar Player at only 620pf for the 18-foot model. DiMarzio instrument cables come with Switchcraft connectors to ensure reliability and have a lifetime warranty.

Good Alternative to Monster

For anyone not interested in paying the extra money for the Monster Cables this is the one for you. My first cable was a Monster 5 ft and I got this one in a 6 ft a short time after that. Slightlty larger and sounds just as good. My only complaint is the the tips are a tad bit easy to unscrew but I have still never had an issue with it. I can only see my self buying DiMarizio's in the future. One suggestion: Don't Cheap Out!! Get at least the 10ft one because you WILL want it. Even if your just an at home musician, it comes in very handy.

Best for your dollar

I upgraded to the DiMarzio cable recently and have noticed a significant difference in the quality of my tone. The cable is crystal clear and extremely well-built. The cable does not bind up like cheaper cable will and the connections are rock-solid. Cable is something I overlooked for a long time, but is one of the most important components to your tone.

great cable

I got this DiMarzio cable after my Fishman stopped working for an unexplained reason. This cable makes my guitar sound lively and doesn't have any crackling after a year of use. That's saying a lot because its usually wrapped around a chair and guitar stand. I love the tweed styling of it. Definantly recommend it if you're looking for a less expensive, yet quality cable.

Good quality at a good price

Prior to using this cable, I had experiences with many cheaper cables which created an annoying buzzing sound. This cable, although perhaps not quite as good as the expensive Monster cables, is definitely a suitable alternative. It gives you a crisp, clean sound with no buzzing, and on top of all that, it looks really good. So if you're looking for style and crisp sound at a reasonable price, go with one of these Dimarzio cables.
