I love this pickup. I put it in my squire telly that I'm rebuilding. The original pickup was so bright and harsh I couldn't stand it. I wanted something that was really bluzzy and this was it. It has awsome tone and great smooth feel...love it
First off let me say that I have never played what I would call a 5 star pickup. That being said, I love this pickup. I am jack of trades kind of player, and this pickup suites me well. From blues to thrash metal this thing has you covered. This pickup gives you a nice mid boost that gives a nice raunchy tone. I use a nice bit of mids in my tone, so this pickup is perfect. I don't care for the traditional tele bridge tone, too much high end twang. I am very pleased!
