Recently I picked up a cheap guitar for a backup used from GC. It is a Hamer Sunburst with P90's. Loved the P90 sound but when I got to rehearsal and plugged it into my Slave/Master dual half stack stage rig it was WAY to noisy. So I ordered the DP154 and dropped it in to the guitar. Though the screw holes where different, this dropped right in with no modification to the cavity. The sound really had me at the first note. Superb depth and clarity at high gain. Just the right amount of chug and singing highs. The kinda sound that inspires new songs!!! Now Im here looking for a full size humbucker version for my nice guitars :)
In replacement of an old P90, has transformed the guitar into something else, a lot more modern. Big big output!
