Great mixer, should've got it from guitar center

By Chad

from Santa Cruz, Cali

Well, I got my MC6000 last week and it is awesome! Takes a little programming to get it how I like it(only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5), but its not bad with the included tsi. My only complaint is about musictrends (the place I purchased) they had a deal for a free odyssey glide style case, when I got the unit it had the non glide style case. I contacted them to return it and get the proper case and they change the website as I was on the phone and then said they couldn't do anything for me, even after I put up a fight and told them I had screenshots of before they changed it. Horrible business practice by musictrends, great mixer.

Lovin It, Way to go Denon!

By Mike Haman

from Grand Forks, ND

I am a Mobile DJ and perform a wide range of events every weekend. About 3 years ago I purchase a Hercules RMX. We had all sort of problems. So I was really skeptical on going back to an all in one controller. I have owned Pioneer CDJ-1000's, MEP-7000, ect. Don't get me wrong that equipment rocked. But after 12 years of lugging all that gear around every weekend. I finally to decided to take another chance on technology. After researching all the controllers out there NS6, NS7, Pioneer DDJ-S1 (which I really wanted bad) I decided on the MC-6000. I don't regret it one bit. Worth every penny! The unit is sized properly for a Mobile DJ, very responsive, and controllers everything you need in VDJ. I give it 10 stars!

Great Piece of Equipment

By Kevin Clark

from San Antonio, Texas

This thing does it all. I haven't had any issues with it. Used it for a karaoke gig and plugged in a double wireless microphones into mic input 2 and it was absolutley perfect could of used more adjustments for some singers but it did the job and I didn't have to carry around more gear. Some mapping issues are my only complaints but 5 stars hands down.

BEST CONTROLLER

By DJ-LOVE

from MIAMI, FLORIDA

BEST CONTROLLER EVER There is no comparing this controller- it beats the rest out. I originally purchased a M-Audio Xponent a few years back with several reliability issues that I never could seem to overcome. I purchased the VSM4 on a whim but immediately took it back; the sound quality was bad and never liked the feel of the jog wheels. After much debate between the NI S4 and the mc6000, I finally bought this one. Absolutely no regrets. The unit is solid and has a great build. The sliders and knobs feel very high quality... (as compared to the plastic of the Xponent). The jog wheels are perfect size for pitch bending although I not big into scratching, it is possible here as well. The sound quality is definitely noticeable compared to the VSM4. The analog mixer built in is very useful for plugging other setups in (or running 4 channel on Traktor or VDJ). The balanced XLRs and TRS outputs and dual microphone inputs are very convenient. The best part is I have no issues! Setup was easy and other than a few midi tweaks in Virtual DJ and Traktor the mixer has not had any issues on my laptop!! Worth every penny. Highly recommended

Why did I wait to get this

By Ted Phelps

from Washington DC

I was looking at the different controllers out there and waited to get the MC6000. I had not seen it in real life, but it looked great in photo's. When I got it I was amazed how small it is. It is like a toy. Also, plastic scratch wheels, really? Also, the front knobs are exposed and I feel they are going to break off if they get bumped. I saw another controller that had huge rubber corners that protected the front knobs and switches. I don't know why they did not do this. Also, the knobs are close together, again it is tiny. I hooked it up and they sound does not sounds as good as other mixers I have used. Overall, this controller is a let down. I need a real sized controller. I am probably returning it and getting another 4-deck unit.
