The TD1 Tube Driver Pedal from DeltaLab creates a warm overdrive distortion effect reminiscent of classic rock and blues tones of the '60s and '70s. The TD1 guitar pedal also lets you overdrive your favorite tube amp or solid state amp, creating harmonically rich overdrive and sustain.
I have to say this is an amazing pedal. I play with a 77 silver face vibro champ and this pedal does what it says, It will drive those tubes and make them SCREAM. With what i think is a well rounded sound. Love It. I also play with an Orange Crush 15, and its okay as a distortion but, to me its lacking something. On that note. If you have a tube amp, give this little baby a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed. On the other hand if you have a solid state, just buy a distortion. But if this pedal is dialed right, you just might be amazed.
Great Pedal!!!! I picked up this pedal two days ago as an experiment and cant stop playing it!! Cheap and a great buy!!
I bought this used for the same price that they are selling this for new...I'm pissed that I missed the sale! The pedal sounds good. It is more than worth $29. You get something plastic from the same competitors for the same price. I am a pro level musician and recording engineer. Someone indicated in a review I read that this pedal is noisey but I recorded direct with it and there was no unwanted noise or buzz. I use it through a 100W solid state amp and it sound good too for the price. It is really strong...all metal case...except the battery cover...but I don't anticipate any problems there. Mine came with a battery but no battery pack...which will cost extra...but for $29 I don't see how anyone could pass this up. Nothing out there compares to this at that price. Sound quite good through solid state...but don't expect magic unless you have a rockin tube amp to go with it.
