Comments about Dean Vendetta XM Tremolo HSH Electric Guitar:

The Korean made ones were better built. This one made in China has an awesome sound, but the craftsmanship of the entire package leaves room for improvement. If you buy one, buy it in store where you can get your hands on it. Buy it on sale too. It will make the purchase that much better. All in all, the pick ups on this Dean give this guitar an awesome warm sound. The wammy bar i would leave unscrewed. Too much play might cause the bridge to warp! (In my opinion )

Comments about Dean Vendetta XM Tremolo HSH Electric Guitar:

This Guitar Sounds great out of the box. Nice shape and weight. However, the craftsmanship of this machine is less desirable. There were open wires on the pick ups, the headstock around the tuners had a nice crack and chip on it. The wammy bar setup is also less than mechanically stellar. The sale price made it a deal but I wouldn't recommend this product for it's build quality, the sound that the guitar makes is another matter. It makes the buy worth it.

Comments about Dean Vendetta XM Tremolo HSH Electric Guitar:

Bought the metallic blue XMT/HSH and the metallic silver XM/HH--both are superb values. Tuners are improved over previous models--no need to replace these. Likewise for the pickups--they sound good. Finishes are imperfect, but both the silver and the blue look quite striking. Toggle and knobs are very good. The bridge on the XMT model is a bit more substantial than the XMT, but both are good. The tremolo is stiff and unwieldy--removed the arm--but both bridges are functional. Actually prefer the HH configuration on the silver XM--I like the H plus H "Billy Gibbons" combination--but the blue HSH setup is nice, too. Both models need minor fret dressing--the frets do not protrude far, but they are pointy. Extraordinary value for both the silver metallic XM with HH, and the blue metallic XMT with HSH. Kudos to Dean for both.
