very surprised

By daryl

from cape cod, ma.

i have been playing for about 20 years now, and just recently needed a new guitar, working in the auto industry, cash is very tight right now. i have wanted a dean for a while now, and when i came across this guitar i could not believe the price, i ended up buying it without playing it. i got this yesterday, and what a surprise, i could not believe the way this guitar plays and sounds. it definately matches or out does alot of guitars i have played that come with a much heftier price tag. nice job dean, you have a customer for life.

Great Beginner Guitar

By AndrewTPW

from San Diego

This is my first guitar and a pretty good one. there are some problems with it tho: the volume switches and strap buttons loosen up all the time, and the jack got screwed up only about a week after i got it. i had to get it repaired but it was a free repair. i also would have liked to have a tremelo system on it. the tone on this guitar is really good although the humbuckers are kinda weak. ive had this guitar for almost a year and im gonna get a new one soon.

GREAT GUITAR

By Shredder84

from Chicago, IL

Its a great looking guitar, and great for power and normal chords, the one thing I didn't like though was that it had 24 frets, I like long necks but the lower parts of the neck, are harder to shred on becuase of the small frets down there

Excellent beginner/intermediate guitar

By xkovacsx

from Florissant, MO

I've had my Dean Vendetta for about a year and I love it. This is my 3rd electric guitar. I got it because it had most of of features i was looking for at a cheap price. It's definetely worth more money than Dean is selling it for, but more reason to buy it and take advantage of this great opportunity. I'm putting some Seymour Duncan pickups in soon and then it'll really be screamin! Cheers!

Great For The Money

By Andrew

from San Diego, CA

This is my first guitar and I have to say it plays great for beginners. I replaces the strings after playing for a little bit. My only complaint is that putting the strings on was a bit difficult.

Sweet ride

By pillarfan

from Indiana

I played this guitar at a local guitar store and loved it!!! I own a few other Dean guitars so it imediatly got my attention. The vendetta 1 is one of three Dean guitars that I am curently adding to my collection. If you're looking for a first guitar this is perfect...probably better that most "starter" guitars....but for me it's a solid back-up! Just a foot note: the pickups are actully really good, but I'm replacing mine with Duncans*

Great guitar, replace strings!

By vendetta

from california

This is an awesome guitar - I'm a beginner and I love it. One thing though...replace the strings immediately. Two strings broke in the first week from just regular playing. Sensational guitar though.

bad beginner getting good

By vendettaONLYowner

from lebanon IN

I just bought the vandetta 1 about a year ago. It was my first axe and I knew absolutly nothing about playing. It is so easy to play and it obviously made a great beginner guitar and I still cant play it past its max. GREAT GUITAR!!! I would recommend to anyone. it would even make a great 2'nd guitar for someone who has played for awhile. Thanks again. Jeremy/ Lebanon IN
