Overview

The Dean From Hell/CFH is a reproduction of Dime's own Dean From Hell, as it appeared on the album cover of Cowboys From Hell. The mahogany body and neck are covered in the familiar blue finish, with the dramatic lightning bolts on the top. An L500XL pickup in the bridge position and Dean humbucker at the neck take you from screeching metal lead tones to crunchy rhythm sounds with a flick of the 3-way toggle. Pluck a harmonic and use the licensed Floyd Rose tremolo to take it to the outer limits. The ultrafast neck is topped with a rosewood fretboard for high-speed shredding galore. Dimebag traction knobs ensure you'll be able to adjust them no matter how much sweat is pouring. Includes a Dean custom hardshell case.

I just got back from Guitar Center. I love this guitar. I was at GC all afternoon and played the hell outta this. In fact I played it so much, a store clerk asked if I would put it back because other customers were annoyed that they couldn't find it. I'm not a huge fan of dive-bombs, but I used the floyd a lot and it didn't go out of tune at all. I was impressed. The Bill Lawrence bucker was outstanding. My friend saya if I got this I should get a Dimebucker but this sounds fantastic by itself. The neck was insanly fast and although I thought it was a C, it has a comfy little bumb down the middle of the neck. Everyone knows the graphics are fantanstic so no need to talk about that. The only thing that put me off was the price. But it sounds so great it is hard to weigh the price. I will definately buy it though. Just remember, try it out first, then decide if you want to buy it.

I'm am a big dime fan so i wanted a dean guitar and I chose this one. When I first got it the neck pickup didn't work. I had to reposition the switch to make it work. couple weeks later I had the same problem but with the bridge pickup. Still after fixing it, it still doesn't work that well and is not reliable. The guitar input is horrible as well. I've to repair it 2 times already(I've owned the guitar for 3 months.) It does look, play, and sound great(when it works). The floyd takes abuse and stays in tune. The pickups are spot on dime tone. But the quality is horrible. It's made very poorly in China. Take my advice and get a usa dean or a washburn dime.

My personal favorite..

Comments about The Dean From Hell CFH Electric Guitar:

I've owned this guitar for two year's now. Best one I got..hand's down. The sound is crisp n' clean (equiped with seamore duncan pups...of course). I play this guitar everyday...sometimes with a vengence and it still play's like the first day I took it home. It's got some battle damage, but that just add's character. There is only one thing I dislike about this guitar..came with some cheap made floyd rose rip off. Now I just need $300 to upgrade to a origional floyd rose, then this monster will be complete.

Dean from Hell

Comments about The Dean From Hell CFH Electric Guitar:

The name says it all, but it is way overpriced. If you want a dime sound this is a good path to take. But it is hard to play some songs, and takes a lot of time to get used too. i use a les paul. so the bridges are very different and was hard to get used too. but other than a little sweet and time, it is an AMAZING guitar.

This Guitar has Perfect Sound And Amazing Tone. I recently Purchased It About 2 weeks ago. Yet They Forgot To Ship The Whammy Bar, And The Shipped The Wrong Size Allen Wrench. And I Still Havent Got The whammy Bar And Its Been almost 2 weeks. I'd Really Like To Know Who Does The Shipping around There Cause Its Not That Hard to Ship The Right Allen Wrench And Whammy.

Comments about The Dean From Hell CFH Electric Guitar:

Well i got this guitar for my birthday but was on out of stock it was well worth the wait. It looks alot differnt then it does in the picture the head stock has the same shape but its a bit thicker, also the floyd rose on mine was chrome. I really think that its a great guitar it has great sound the pickups are really really great the dean pick up gives you a great clean tone and the bill Laurence is great for crunchy riff and leads, after you setup the floyd rose you can do divebombs all day.

Don't walk by this guitar without playing

Comments about The Dean From Hell CFH Electric Guitar:

I was on vacation in Pennslyvania and I noticed 2 used dean from hells they were in such good condition that they didn't look used. I had never played one because my local guitar center never had any in stock. So I picked it up and felt a lot of joy go down my spine and a smile lit up my face:).I pluged it into a Peavey Valveking 212 combo and was amazed at the tonal capabilites i was getting and by the way i was using no effect pedals.I own a Dean ML X and this blows it away even the fact it's made in china the quality is just as good as the upper epiphone guitars $650-$1,000 range. The mahognay really makes the guitar feel like it's made by gibson a little and i like that feel. The neck is very smooth and easy to move around but it dosn't fill up the palm of my hand like i would like it to do like a les paul. The pick ups and traction knobs are both great for that extra grib when you're hand is sweaty i'm highly considering buying this guitar only problem is the finish its beatifull but if i were to play this in a band doing shows everyone would expect to hear Pantera or think im just trying to copy Dime and i want to stay original but i think this still deserves 5 stars because it comes with a hardshell case.

Absolute Necessity...

By Kellraiser

from Denton, TX

Comments about The Dean From Hell CFH Electric Guitar:

This guitar does so many things so well. It's the king of dive bombs and squeals--- that being said, I can hardly believe the warmth and pure blues tone this baby emits. Threw a noise gate on mine, and it sounds incredible through my half stack! The Bill Lawrence bridge pick-up is the Holy Grail of pick-ups... Zebra neck pick up at the neck is pretty thick for riffage. Take a minute to get familiar with it by purchasing some new strings. (DR's sound amazing!) Chances are your Floyd Rose is going to need to be set up anyhow. No time better than now to get used to it. I've played Gibson Les Pauls that don't have the tonal range this beast delivers... pretty much your perfect metal guitar. Meat and potatoes kids. Have more fun.

Comments about The Dean From Hell CFH Electric Guitar:

i love this guitar it satisfied my need to rock.i nearly sleep with it. the neck is very cold to the touch but it warms up and softens after you play it for a while.i would suggest washing your hands before you play because strings can get slimy.this guitar can soothe me more than my wife can.

Quite the Machine

By Ty Stick

from Londonderry, NH

Comments about The Dean From Hell CFH Electric Guitar:

This thing is quite possibly the nastiest guitar I've ever played, and I've played a number of fine guitars from jackson king v's to an eddie van halen replica and they don't come close when it comes to a range in sound. The clean tone is unmatchable, even for my Gibson, and puts blues out with a lot of flow. When you turn up the gain and add some distortion, this thing SCREAMS. worth every penny, my new fave. Plus the paint really turns heads. Always a nice plus.
