this guitar is great. it takes all the divebombing action tht i give it and gives bak a great sound. comes with a great color too. awesome guitar, jus awesome
With all the same features as the other Razorbacks (mahogany body and neck, Licensed Floyd Rose, Dimebucker in the bridge), it's just as shred worthy a guitar as it's always been. The Dimebucker is meant for pure metal, driving the amp hard for jagged staccato riffs and screaming harmonics. The Floyd Rose, stays in tune through even the most ridiculous of whammy antics (and when you're a fan of Steve Vai, like I am, you really test the tremolo's abilities). There's also a simple control layout with 2 volume knobs, for really cool stutter-stop kill switch effects by turning off one of the pickups. Access up to the 22nd fret is easy with the set-neck carve and the fairly deep cutaway. The body shape can be a little awkward at times, but once you get acclimated to it it's a comfortable and fun guitar to play. A warning when playing it standing up: its pretty neck heavy, and the lower wings are likely to hit against tables or amplifiers if you're not careful. All in all, it's a nice guitar with a simpler look than "skulls and death", and it's equipped with just about everything a metal guitarist could need. Check it out and shred it up.
This guitar is amazing. The Neck and fretboard is so smooth and quick. so much fun to play and use onstage and in my room.
I bought my razorback about a year ago and Ive loved it ever since Its a great guitar for playing metal and I upgraded my pickups to emg 85's and now its amazing for a crushing metal sound and mad distortion, Id recommend this guitar to any metalhead and to pay your respects to dime bag darrel.
Its good for meatal. If your in to Korn and stuff like that.
this guitar sounds amazing in gigs but for sitting down and just messing around, it doesn't work to well. it doesn't fit well to sit with but some people love this body design. other than no complaints. great axe.
