I saw this bass hanging in the store like a month ago.Thought it was a cool bass.Played it for a few mins and fell madly in love with it. Its all I thought of until this past Sunday when I went and bought it.And the only times I have put it down was when I was sleeping. It feels good to have my hand hurt once again. This is a AWESOME bass.I just love the feel and the sound of it.It has such a crunch and powerful sound. This bass made me love to play once again.I am sooo freaking happy with it!! And happy I bought it.Still cant believe how such great quality was soo affordable.Awesome is all I can say about this bass.

This is my 6th bass in collection. First of all, It was delivered with foil candy wrapper in electronics compartment and battery hot as hell! Sound too "punchy". Uncomfortable action even with thin neck. Bulky uncomfortable on strap, cant rest it on your lap, cant put it down (without risking damage) overall to much drama for a cool look. This bass confirmed that I don't like basswood bodys. I'm going to get the B.C. Rich Gregorio warlock. Besides im sick of black anyway. You better feel it for yourself before you waste your money. (no matter how much or little). Pro: It looks great hanging on the wall! Adds a nice touch to any room in the house!! Ha Ha.

Almost to Much Power

By Paul F.

Great Bass. The pick ups on this thing are so strong even accidentally nicking a string will make a clear note ring out. Great action, killer look, brutal sound. Plenty of room on the body for stickers, decals, or a custom paint job. I had only two problems with the bass. First off it came with no manual and it took a little while to figure out which knob controlled what. No big deal. What was a big deal was one of the bolts connecting the neck to the body. One of the strap connectors was mounted on one of the bolts and after an hour or two of light playing (no jumping, shredding, playing behind your head or other equally energetic form of performing)the weight of the bass itself pulled the bolt out and stripped the hole! It was an easy fix and the warranty would have covered it if I elected to send it in but still I expected a little more strength. Still I am happy with this bass and it's brutal sound and would still recommend it to anyone looking for a bass on a budget.

I love this thing. It may be cheap but it performs better than other basses I've played with higher price tags. Some being in the $900 price range. This bass has really great stock pickups so there's no need to change them. Really low action and handles drop tunings. As a matter of fact i down tune a whole step and it actually handles it. When i down tuned my other basses i would constantly get a lot of buzz and need to adjust the bridge every few hours. HOW ANNOYING! The metal man really is amazing. Just because its not expensive doesn't mean its not good. Do your self a favor and pick one up, it's worth every penny. Oh and the body shape feels amazing and stands out on stage. Its basically an attention grabber!

Great metal bass

By Michael (bear)

This bass is pretty sick, I got it about 2 years ago and it constantly proves it self over and over. The pick ups on this bad boy are superb. They give you that growl that you really want and have high out put. This bass can handle Drop B tuning which is what I use for my band. Its not as good as my Ibanez SRX3EXQM1 but it's my back up bass and its still great to have. The V shaped body and head stock really make it stand out of the crowd. So if your looking for a great bass and are on a budget i recommend it.
