I was very dissapointed when I got this thing in the mail. I'll just cut to the chase on this one. The bass is large, clangy, heavy, and hard to use. The bass itself has alright tone, although it's really only good for a driving sound. BUT, the one thing I WAS impressed with about it is its performance in drop tunings. It can even go into drop A. But I really don't think it's worth the tradeoff. You really won't shred on this thing. But, if you are a stage lemon and are large and like to play in drop tunings, (like several death metal bassists.) Then this is the bass for you.
This bass is great.I love this basses sound and quality. This bass is awesome for shows. If your a hard rock person this will be amazing. Its soapbar humbucker is amazing. You will not be dissapointed.
this is a very good bass .. it was a backup to my vintage warlock bass, so far it has become my primary, since my warlock is in need of minor repairs. i love the action, low profile maple neck, very fast action.the body design is wicked, (despite that im not a dimebag fan, sorry). the only things i dont like about this bass is: 1) the nut- its made of plastic. my original warlock that got stolen, (prior to the warlock i had mentioned before) had a brass nut. this will wear out sooner than expected. 2) the humbucking pickup - isn't too sensitive to tapping, hammer ons, and vibratto. you will need a pedal to boost these actions, has a good crunch to its sound tho, great for rhythm. also this bass is HUGE. not heavy just really long. despite its length, it only has a 22 fret neck. thats all. thrash till death!!!
This bass is awesome!!!!.I have been playing bass for 1/2 a year. What I like about the bass is that it is light, easy to play, awesome sound, and good looks. The only thing I dont like is nothing!!! It is perfect in every way!! Get it now!!
Now the reason I gave this 4 stars is because this is not deans best bass. But I will say that it plays better than all the basses I've played at guitarcenter's store which includes a warwick. This bass has a low action it's very easy to play. you can play a lot of fast stuff on this. Over all its a great bass for the money. because it plays like a 600 dollar bass.
this bass is the BEST bass in the world!! i got this bass 2 days ago and im in love with it. this guitar is great for the price. i like the sound, style, and the neck. the thing i dont like about it is nothing. its the BEST bass in the world!
POSITIVE: I have this bass and i love the way it sounds, it doesnt buzz when pressing on the fretts. i have played a few live performances with it and i love the way it sounds. NEGATIVE: the neck is soo long and when i play it hurts my hands and my arm gets tired from holding it yp so high. and i couldt find a case for it because it was so long
This bass is by far the best I've played. I recently bought it and I can already tell a HUGE difference between it and my Peavey Foundation. It has a much deeper, heavier sound than the Peavey and it looks about 2 million times better. When I don't want to disturb people with my amp, I plug it into a C-Tech Pocket Rock-It amp and the features on that make this bass sound even better. If you need a cheap, good bass with a heavy metal sound, this is your best buy. Trust me on this one; you won't be disappointed.
I absolutly love this guitar! Because when I played for the first time it sounded so GREAT and the features are great as well too. But what got my attention was the price and its looks I mean wouldn't you agree that it looks nice. And i'm so excited because in a day or two I AM GETTI'N ONE. OH YEAH BABY!!! I think it is a good bass to get because they are not as fragile as the B.C Rich Warlock and believe it or not I actually was going to get one but I didn't because I read and heard that they have problems in a couple of years thats why I didn't. All I have to say....I might write when i get it. Bye.
So, I've had my eye on this bass for a while now, and got to try it out 2 days ago. It sounds great (amazing for it's price), and very suitable for heavy styles of playing. I've recently been picking up bass, and I think this is one I'll be sticking to.
