Great... Mostly

By Maxwell Powers

from Solon ohio

This thing is fan-freaking-tastic. I only have one complaint, The body looks nothing like what is in the picture. It doesn't have that beautiful wood look. It just looks like a big piece of plastic. Kindof a bummer.

Finished color is not the same as pictured online

By aleana rodriguez

from Houston TX

I just received the bass last week. Nice pack in its box. Delivered on time as scheduled. Cannot review yet on its sound quality, my daughter is just learning bass. my only disappointment is the finish color on bass is black satin, as described on the box it was packaged in. Online it says black transparent, which i dont know if it means the same thing..? But i like how guitar looks on guitar center's website...it looks grayish-black, and with some gloss like most electric guitars do. So, i just wana give the heads up on anyone who considers this when shopping online for a bass guitar. I have not contact guitar center to see whether or not it was their mistake, but i get the feeling they will tell me I got the right one.

Love it!

By Clay

from Sioux Falls, SD

I love this bass! Just looking at it makes me happy. I bought this bass online having never touched any bass in my life. Thus I cannot honestly say how it compares to other basses, but after reading all the positive reviews I knew this was the one. I am quite happy with it being shortscale as it made the transition from guitar to bass an absolutely breeze. Further it's size is perfect for my sister to play as well which was important to me. So like I said, I'm not really qualified to compare it to other basses, but can say I absolutely love it in every way!

Good old original awesome!

By DeVo

from Kansas City, Kansas

Not only does this bass look awesome,it has an awesome sound especially considering the price! The dual humbuckers make it good for playing a nice classic or soft rock but it also makes for some good hard or punk rock. over all this bass is pretty freak'n awesome and I highly recommend it!

What a surprise

By Josh W.

from portland, or

After not playing for a little over 10 years, I decided to get back into it and thought this would be a good beginner bass. What a pleasant surprise! This thing sounds great and could easily be my primary instrument well after I am no longer a "beginner again".

B-E-A-U..TIFUL!

By Garrett

from Atlanta

Awesome! this bass is not anywhere near costly, is fun to play, and is an overall great shortscale bass. good for beginners, intermediates, and experts. Replace the strings with some D'Addarios and play on. SUMMARY-Great buy. If you are lookin for a good bass and tryin not to spend too much coin, look no further.

Dean Evo XM

By Got Music?

from N/A

Well depending whether or not your looking for a good bass... this ones pretty nice. But The Fender Squier 70's Jazz bass in my opinion, has a better vibe and sound. Now im not demeaning the Evo i just think the jazz Vintage 70's is WAY BETTER
