Dime-O-Flames

By Boesen

from Undisclosed

Comments about Dean Dime-O-Flame Electric Guitar:

I bought this today from the Rockford branch of Guitar center. I have been playing B.C. Rich guitars for a few years now. However, I really need a shredder. This guitar has all the power to tear up the most complex of riffs and is very easy to fret. I thought would be a lot heavier with its Mahogany neck however, it feels much ligher than my B.C. Rich wave signature. If you want to rock this guitar will not fail you.

Dime's must have guitar!

By gravydogg74

from Columbus,OH

Comments about Dean Dime-O-Flame Electric Guitar:

I walked into Guitar Center and immediately saw this fine work of art. At first I was skeptical of the shape and comfortabilty that the Dime-O-Flame presented. However, this guitar proves to be a must have for any rock guitar player. The action on the neck was low profile to pull of killer sweeps. The whammy bar was one of the great highlights, it pulled back flawlessly to scream at demons for miles. The crunch and tone from chugging power chords can destroy whole cities. With all of these features, $799.00 is a bargain to sound like our hero DIME!

Great Guitar!!!!

By Gibsonboy

from none of your buisness

Comments about Dean Dime-O-Flame Electric Guitar:

This guitar is cool! The floyde rose trem is crasy, awsome for those dime squeals. I've heard befor that the dimebucker was no comparison to EMGs but it knocked them of of the Jacksons and Esps all around me. If your look closely at the paint you can see the pixels, but from over a foot away it is fine. It also has evil skull faces in the fire. A crasy guitar, buy it!

Dean has done it again.

By Malefeasance666

from Glendora, California

Comments about Dean Dime-O-Flame Electric Guitar:

Even though it was imported from korea, the quality on this guitar is amazing. Great Floyd rose licenced tremolo, amazing stock pickups, and a fast neck for those Dimebag Solos. The only proplem is the Dimebucker needs alot of gain to be used successfully. R.I.P Dimabag Darrell

Best ML Guitar Ever!!!!

By Deanisbetterthanibanez

from Allen, TX

Comments about Dean Dime-O-Flame Electric Guitar:

This has got to be THE BEST Dimebag Darrell ML ever made! i just got mine a little over a month ago, and it has changed that way i play guitar. (i came from a squier). this thing is worth the money, and recommend everyone should buy one of these. But if u are looking for and EXTREME metal guitar, try the explosion razorback! i run this guitar through a DigiTech Metal Master pedal. I gave the quality a 4 because sometimes the bolt/nut thing on the input jack falls off. easy to fix though. BUY IT!

A masterpiece...

By Brett Boehm

from Brook Park, OH

Comments about Dean Dime-O-Flame Electric Guitar:

I bought this guitar about 7 months ago, and all I can say is that this guitar is a shredder. The beautiful body, along with the hot paint job makes this guitar eye candy. The neck gives you the ability to reach amazing speeds at a really smooth style. The floyd rose does its job, and lets you add some sweet effects to your style. I highly recommend this guitar to an experienced player looking for a great guitar at a great price!

dime o flame rocks

By txmetalrox

from dfw, tx

Comments about Dean Dime-O-Flame Electric Guitar:

this guitar not only has cool flames, itll also almost make ur fingers burn off. lol seriously this guitar has a great all around sound and has one of the fastest necks ive played. i only have 2 minor complaints. first it has to have either a dean case or a coffin case, wich r both expensive and the input washer and nut seems to come loose and fall off, someone else had the same issue in a review on here. other than that its a steal

Pretty sweet

By hardrocker14

from Trona CA.

Comments about Dean Dime-O-Flame Electric Guitar:

This guitar is really sweet. I expected a little more crunch out of this guitar but it was already nice as is. The playability is amazing. The dimebucker still delivers all the crunch you need to deliver some bone chilling metal but you can play other kinds of rock too. All pantera fans should check this out!

Great Guitar

By P. Aitcheson

from New York

Comments about Dean Dime-O-Flame Electric Guitar:

Everything about this guitar is perfect, except the paint job. Personally i feel it looks a little dorky, but everything else the guitar does certainly outshines the paint job. Its extremely light, so playing shows should be very hassle-free. The pickups are excellent, i heard nearlly no hum or buzz. The floyd works great and the sound is amazing. The neck is also extremely comfortable, so you can get a good grip and some great speed.

not bad

By CoreyD

from No Sto, Ct

Comments about Dean Dime-O-Flame Electric Guitar:

I bought this back in august and its really not a bad guitar theres only a few things wrong. one: if you wail on the whammy bar too much it starts to get loose and you'll have to go in from the back and tighten it. two: the floyd rose doesnt really work well unless you have it set up perfectly and even then it will drop out of tune sometimes. three: of course since it has a floyd rose its very time consuming when re-stringing and sometimes a huge pain if you don't know how to do it correctly. other than that it sounds awesome perfect for any dimebag fan. Getcha Pull!

Nice guitar

By NoName

from Colchester,ct

Comments about Dean Dime-O-Flame Electric Guitar:

I really love this guitar, plays great, looks beatiful. I am not overly impressed with the quality. The first one I recieved had to go back. The second one was good but the hardware was a slightly different color. After 4 weeks the pickup selector stopped working, took it apart and bent the metal contacts in.. short term fix. Next the 4th fret pulled away from the headstock. If I do some 2 1/2 step bends up the neck the high E gets stuck in the slot. The guitar came pretty well setup. The strings were garbage do yourself a favor and throw em out ASAP,(didnt buy it for the strings anyways) changing them gave the guitar a whole different feel. I would buy another one no doubt but maybe I would go used.

Wozzy

By Wozzy

from All Over... Military

Comments about Dean Dime-O-Flame Electric Guitar:

Dean Dime-O-Flame I bought mine in San Antonio. Mined you I'm not a big Pantera fan and I don't go for this shape of the Dean Dime-O-Flame body for a guitar. Decided to pick this guitar up and try it out. I ajusted the bridge in at the store... The frets were low and I got the action of this baby down really low.. I loved it. The neck was fast. I fell in love with just the feel of it and it is cool looking. I only found 1 flaw in it for proformance, 1st fret C Flat has a little buzz, But Hay, If your still just playing with Major chords not going any further and not playing riffs or lead, this guitar is to good for you! If your into Fast rockin, hard playing or your a beginning guitar player just learning and pressing yourself to be good. BUY THIS GUITAR..... You can't loose!

Killer axe

By Metalfreak

from Carson City, Nevada

Comments about Dean Dime-O-Flame Electric Guitar:

This guitar screams! I bought this guitar a little bit ago and I was simply speechless when I finally got to play it. I thought it would be heavy and bulky considering the size but I was shocked to find out that I was wrong. the dimebucker simply wails when pumped through some high gain. the floyd rose system is flawless from the simple divebombs to the all out squeals, dips, and bends that dime is known for. The headstock is a little annoying considering the size but it still looks cool. the finish is also verry cool and it is on fire so it tells you it is meant to burn. the neck has a comfortable profile that is perfect for shredding. If your a fan of pantera or just a fan of metal and love to play, seriously, check this bad boy out!

Fantastic Guitar

By TheMetalHobbit

from Florida

Comments about Dean Dime-O-Flame Electric Guitar:

Well I've always been very fond of Dean guitars but every time I pick this one up and play every day I find it hard to put down. Well the playability is really great and there is a lot of access to the higher frets. it may be a set neck but it rivals any Neck-Through, I don't know if it's the glue Dean uses or what but the sustain and resonance are just fantastic. The pick-ups provide some worm tones and have a very broad range. The Floyd Rose never comes out of tune for me even as much as I abuse it, it may be a pain to tune at first when putting new strings on, but until you change one it will stay in tune. This thing is also a real head-turner, the flames really make it stick out and until I had it for about a week I noticed a demonic skull in one of the legs. Great guitar for the price, comfortable to play sitting down, light weight for live performances, and all with slick playability and tone.

Comments about Dean Dime-O-Flame Electric Guitar:

This guitar is pretty sweet. It plays fast and smooth, and stays in tune very well. The tone is pretty heavy, and feels like the spirit of Dime is coming out every time I shred on it. There are better guitars out there, but for the $$$ I'm not so sure. Can't really say anything negative about it, I'm very happy with it.

      Great Axe

      By Lee

      from temecula ,california

Comments about Dean Dime-O-Flame Electric Guitar:

what caught my attention first was the paint job, cool flames and crazy body style. Second is how the guitar feels when your sitting down playing or standing up, its super comfortable. How this guitar plays is awsome great sound and just wicked action, if you love distortion then you will love plating this guitar. the floyd can be a bit tempermental but what guitar with a floyd isnt? for a tremlo fitted guitar i find it a bit easier than others. over all i find that this guitar has been one of the best i have owned, flat out.
