  • Great Guitar

As reviewed by Jesse on 1/12/2010

I have played guitar for roughly two years and I bought this guitar about nine months ago from a friend who was selling it to be able to have sufficient funds for the parts for the guitar he was making and I have hardly put it down since. He sold it to me for 100 dollars and I figured it would be a good deal. After getting it home I realized it was an amazing deal. This guitar sounds amazing with distortion and also has great clean tones. Since I bought this guitar, I haven't even touched my Washburn X-series guitar. Also, I have played a friend's Gibson SG and I do like the SG but I still like playing this Vendetta XMT more. I play this guitar almost every day and I hardly ever have to tune it, unless I'm tuning it down a half-step or to drop-c. Like another review, the volume knob has been getting a little loose but can be fixed easily. Great guitar for anyone looking for a great guitar at such low prices. TWO THUMBS UP!!!

  • Dean Vendetta review

As reviewed by Dave on 8/10/2010

What can I say about the Dean Vendetta Xmt,well to start thing off i love the wait its is so light(12.5 pounds to be exact) it has great pickups, and most of its very affordable. This Guitar has great tone and good for Rock/Metal. There is however a few things I personally do not like. The first thing is that the neck is pretty thick and I like Necks that are thin but thats only my opinion< The other thing is that when you buy it you may have to adjust the tremolo a little bit to make it looser, but other than that its a great guitar. I seriously suggest you buy this guitar especially if you are low on money but want a great sounding guitar. Hope this helps

  • Good beginner axe

As reviewed by matt on 4/14/2010

This is a great beginner guitar. I recieved one as a gift for Christmas, and all I can say is wow. It plays good clean but the distortion sounds amazing. The only problem I've ever had is the two wires on the input jsck come off if you travel with it. It's a simple fix with a soldering iron, but it's annoying sice you just get feedback and nothing else. Other than that it's a great and extremely lightweight guitar. I definetely recommend this guitar.
