WOW...

I just got mine an hour ago and all that I can say is that......If this is Dean's lowest entry level guitar I cannot wait to see what their other more expensive ones are like. This is a very light guitar compared to my Les Paul. It sounds great and resonates forever... The absolute best bang for your buck if you are a beginner on a tight budget. The tuners are not the greatest but those can be changed for under $50.00. The sound is awesome.... I have played others costing 5 times as much and this one blows them away. I got this as a practice guitar that I would not have to care for and worry about as much as my Les Paul. I must say that I see my LP sleeping in it's case for awhile now. I work nights and when I get home I want to play without waking the wife or the baby. This guitar is perfect for that because it sounds great even without an amp. It is very very light though and the wood grain is just a graphic but who cares this thing absolutely rocks. Also if you get this one, do not expect the natural color to be as light as the photos of it because it is really much darker. SUMMARY: This guitar would be a great deal at $300.00. I just noticed that some sites are listing this as a clearance item so do not wait and order yours soon. I really expected at best an OK guitar for 100 bucks. I got one of the best sounding axes I have ever had. I have been playing for 16 years now and have owned over 20 guitars and would rate this in my top 3

WHO NEEDS A STRAT , NOT ME

When my better half decided it would be fun for me to acompany her keyboard after 8 years of not playing guitar I went looking for a good deal just to please her. I tried 1000 dollar and up, 500 and up and they were good but when i picked up this little 150 dollar dean I was amazed. This monster plays better then the les paul i had and looks just mean. Great for metal and wierd combos that we do, havent had the tuner or strap trouble i hear about havent had to tune it in two months either and we check it every day. So to all you strat and les paul snobs, go ahead spend the big bucks we can play the tunes and have money left for beer.

A must have for a metal rocker!

Man, this guitar rocks out. If you are the metal loving guitarist... this is your guitar. It is very easy to handle, but it gets out of tune quckly. But, it does well in concerts. The other day, I played at my park in my neigborhood. The people loved it. A must have!!!

Hat's Off To Dean Guitars...

I've been playing for about 15 years, and for about the past 5,strictly acoustic.Wanting to get get back into playing electric again,I looked for a good deal.Having played Dean Guitars previously I started there, and the search was short.Everything I read about the XM Vendetta was so positive I had to check it out.Well, from the moment I picked it up I had no doubt it was the right choice. With great looks, great sounding pick-ups,other than changing the tuners it plays like a much more expensive guitar I've got to recommend it,hat's off to Dean Guitars!!!

Great sounding

I got this guitar today, I gotta say. It has great sound and comes strung With D'addarios. cant get a better string in my opinion . I thought i was going to get an average guitar, but No I got a great sounding tune holding guitar I played it hard for an hour and it kept tune the tuning knobs are tight and the pickups are great There were a few scratches on the guitar but i am going to let them slide because of the great price. Totally Happy wouldnt give it away
