  • Very solid guitar

As reviewed by Ali on 12/28/2010

I bought this guitar a couple of months ago and have grown to appreciate it more and more as I play it. It is a very solid and versatile beginner/intermediate/practice guitar and it breaking in very well. I suspect I will be using this one for more than just practice as the months turn to years with no problem. The Floyd Rose stays in tune fairly well for a guitar at this price point. I think I appreciate all of the little features that come standard with this guitar - Floyd Rose, push/pull pot, very nice Dean humbuckers, Grover tuners, mahogany/maple has a nice tone and this guitar has surprising sustain. Would recommend to anyone who wants a full-service practice guitar that is fully upgradeable if you just aren't satisfied, which I can't imagine why you wouldn't be. Definitely one of the best guitars you will find brand new for the money.

  • Liquid Steel

As reviewed by Doug Crabtree on 12/28/2010

Just bought this guitar and wow!!! I've owned Les Pauls,Ibanez,Fenders and junk. This is not a piece of junk!Well designed and great quality, the only thing I can see is the tuners but if ya crank em a bit tight after locking down the nut I've not had a problem with them. For the deal ya get with this purring kitten I'm sure you can afford a set of nice tuners for it.This thing is awesome as far as the action and the way the neck feels. It's as fast as you are and as smooth as liquid steel! Beautiful finish and a quality piece at this price? Go for it,spend a couple of bucks to upgrade it and shredd !!!!!!!!!

  • a rockin guitar

As reviewed by john on 12/22/2010

although i bought this guitar used it was still a great deal for $260 MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT THE NECK ISNT PERFECTLY FITTED ON RIGHT SIDE OF NECK IT OVER HANGS A LITTLE BIT AND ON THE LEFT THERE IS A SPACE , ALSO THE FLOYD ROSE ON IT HAS 2 SPRINGS ANS THE TREM BLOCK IS VERY VERY VERY SKINNY BUT HAS GREAT SUSTAIN , the push pull pot can give you a a stevie ray vaughyn style sound and can be very blues oriented or when you puch it in you get full out rock and metal also the machine heads are huge the pegs you twist are the size of my thumb!!!!!! but overall a great deal for intermediate players not so much beginners because restringing and setting up this trem is a bitch
