Product Information

A big, killer guitar with a little, harmless pricetag.

The Dean V with Matching Headstock features a maple, C-shape neck and a rosewood fretboard. A string-thru bridge keeps your tone alive throughout the guitar's entire body. 22 fast frets facilitate wicked, shredding solos and lightning quick chord changes. 2 humbuckers with 3-way switching, volume and tone control keep things simple, yet tonally flexible.

Being a Dean, the V looks as good as it sounds. The large, famous Dean headstock almost mirrors the V body, an illusion enhanced by the matching finish.

good

i was very cautios about getting this guitar but im glad i did. first it has he huge V shape, second the awsome matching headstock, and the stock pickups are excellent...very wicked guitar although id prefer to get a razorback V this was all i can afford and its worth more than u spend on it, the bolt on neck doesnt even get in the way, super fast neck, and the dean wing symbol on the headstock..truely a great guitar

Sick in all ways

I bought this about 6 months ago and I've bashed it everywhere (by mistake) and it's fine. No chips at all. The fret is fast and the tone is great for its price. My favorite part is the body of the guitar. I love the huge V that is mirrored on both ends, the body and the head. The only problem is minor and can be avoided: when you lie it on the floor, the huge head bends the neck, loosening the strings and thus making the guitar out of tune. The guitar is awesome, so I won't take off a star.

Nice

I got this guitar l;ast year in October. It's my first V. I had a Dean Evo XM once but it sucked. I like the Dean V better. The big body is nice, I'm used to big bodied guitars. The tuners are nice, Grovers. I'm changing the pickups sometime to a Seymour Duncan JB Bridge and a Jazz Model neck. I got the guitar in metallic white. Get this guitar if you want good looks, a hard rock/metal type sound, and if you're a fan of the Dean V. Five stars because of the quality, price, and looks. I'm a Dean player for life. Next Dean will be a 79 Series ML in black non trem.

Very nice Guitar

This is my first Dean V guitar, I got it in the metallic white finish. It's nice. The tone is killer and stays in tune very well, I might get an EMG pickup just for the neck position though. I suggest testing this guitar out first before taking it home, I had to have a new pickup selector ordered. Other than that very nice guitar. I plan to get the Dean ML79 electric guitar in the Brizilliaburst finish sometime, or the Silverburst finish. The guitar sounds nice going through just my 15 watt Hartke amp too, I'm not big on expensive stuff so thats what I use. The matching headstock looks killer with the guitar too. Way to go Dean!

Very nice.

I own this guitar in metallic white. I put some Ernie Ball Regular Slinkies strings after awhile. Neck is nice and fast. Has a nice metal and rock sound too. This is my first flying-v guitar. I'm getting some EMG pickups put on the guitar in a few months. EMG H3 bridge and H3A neck. My Dean V came with Grover tuners. Anyway, all in all awesome guitar. Get this if you can afford it, you won't be let down!
