Product Information

The Dean V Coustic is unlike any other acoustic-electric guitar you'll ever play.

With a radical "V" design thin body the Dean V Coustic guitar plays more like an electric giving you full access to an extremely fast neck. Yet it is made with the same top quality tonewoods found in traditional acoustic guitars, like a select spruce top and mahogany back and sides. The Dean T-Wing Soundhole and rosette add to the visual drama and the built-in Dean Buffer Preamp with 3-Band Equalizer gives you all that you need to get the job done. This guitar rocks! Includes V-shaped gig bag.

With our Guaranteed Lowest Price, you can be assured of complete satisfaction and the lowest available price, or your money back!

NEW REVIEW - It's ok...

Playabitity - Sitting down with this guitar is not a good idea unless you have a strap. The strings are pretty heavy gauge so you might want to restring it too. Sound - The shape of the guitar affects the sound in a pretty bad way IMO. It has a very trebly tone compared to other acoustics. All of the peole I've shown this guitar too, most thought it looked ugly. When I first saw this guitar, I thought it was really cool. After a few days it look ugly =O

I thought I'd seen it all until....

I picked up this V coustic the other day at my local guitar shop and was amazed on how well it was built. Just like any other "V" guitar these things are nearly inpossible to play sitting down, but once I finally started strumming on it I was suprised on the amount of tone that was coming from such a thin acoustic. Obviously not the best for a serious musical act but for the value and the fact that it can be used as an electric this is a must have for any musician! This is a one-of-a-kind guitar!!

wow

The minute i heard this guitar i fell in love with it. I have never had a single problem with the electronics, but the strings that it came with were knocked out of tune very easily so you might want to change those. Otherwise its a great guitar.

v-coustic

i have been playing the electric guitar for about 5 years in a band. just recently i started playing acoustic guitar, its much harder to play then electric in my opinion. the dean v-coustic is perfect for my playing style. i can reach the high notes, do ez pull offs and hammer ons, bends ect. i didnt like the strings it came with so i changed them right away and it sounds much better. tone is suprisingly good for a V. i think that this is a good guitar for a beginer like me. if you have been playing acoustic for a long time, dont get it, there are probably alot of better guitars out there.
