The Dean Explosion Razorback is an electric guitar that has high impact looks and puts out concussive licks. A super-snug set neck joint joins the mahogany neck and body for supreme resonance that works with the Dimebucker pickup at the bridge to produce astounding sustain with knife-edge bite. Killer explosion graphics are complemented by a bound rosewood fretboard and black hardware, including a double-locking Floyd Rose-licensed trem.
This guitar screams metal! The high end is amazing, the low down and dirty drop D tuning is the best I've ever heard, and it looks awesome on stage. I bought this guitar after testing it only once. If you're looking for a guitar that will destroy an audience with screaming tones and looks, this is the one for you.

I have had this guitar for about 3 months now and the only other guitar I would buy besides a Dean now is my own custom shop ESP. The guitar itself feels great and sounds awsome through my JSX head and XXX cab. I can hit squeels no problem and the Dimebucker puts out enough punch that even the devil himself can feel it. My only complaint would be that you have to be really careful with the edges because they can sometimes get in the way and can easily be chiped. Other than that THE GUITAR IS A MUST BUY.

Just reciently got this mighty dean axe, and I cab tell you this puppy screams. Great tone and sustain plus it looks amazing but what do you expect from an axe that the late dimebag put his name on. This review is coming from a die hard B.C. Rich guy but I was truely floored by this guitar. do yourself a favor forget the other shred machines you've been looking at and take a chance on this one, you won't regret it.

This guitar is one of the best guitars I own. It's simply the best for any type of music. If you want high-pitched squeals so you can feel closer to Dimebag Darrell, then this guitar is for you, I wouldn't suggest it for beginners, considering this guitar is difficult to handle, but the feel of it, and the comfort of the guitar make it an excellent choice for advanced players and above!

I got a razorback for an early 18th b-day present. Best thing i got. The reason the quality is so low is cause i bought it with damages to the points on the headstock and a chip on the upper lower fin. The value was good cause with those damages, i got the guitar for about $100 cheaper. The neck is okay for me cause im used to a "C" shaped neck. that's the only problem for shredding. other than that, it's a good choice and look for any heavy metaller or a fan of Dimebag.
