    I have never really played a real Dean guitar; other than my friends baby xl (when i was first playing guitar). This guitar is just mean, plain and simple. I didnt test on my stack yet but i did use a fender frontman with digiTech's Metal Master pedal. Let me tell you, it sounds amazing. The cleans are just perfect and even the bass switch lets you shred ever so smoothy. The artwork on this guitar makes you feel like youre looking at a western tabletop. Its so killer! The floyd is.. well its a floyd =) nuff said. My only issue was that i was tuning it to lock into Drop D. I barely turned the darn bolt and it already stripped a little bit. I can still get the bolt to tighten and loosen but its deff stripped on one side. Also, for newer players to the floyd rose, i would suggest giving tuning directions in the guitar case. Makes tuning a little more helpful considering my exotic warlock came with it. This guitar overall is a must buy! I think i'll cover Trivium's new In Waves with it! rock on
