Razor-sharp style and unforgettable Dime tone.

The Dean Razorback Cemetery Gates Electric Guitar features a killer, jagged design with an amazing graphic commemorating the epic Pantera song "Cemetery Gates." The set mahogany neck has a rosewood fretboard with a pearl razor-blade inlay at the twelfth fret that evokes Dimebag Darrell's famous necklace. A DiMarzio rhythm pickup and Dimebucker treble pickup unleash vicious tone that's sure to put a smile on any metalhead's face. Finished off with black hardware, Grover tuners, Floyd Rose trem, Dimebag traction knobs, and the Dimebag Tribute crest on the guitar's headstock. Written across the body of the guitar are the words from the chorus: "I will unlock my door, and pass the cemetery gates." "Cemetery Gates" is a seven-minute song by heavy metal band Pantera. The song is the fifth track from Cowboys from Hell, the band's fifth album and their second with lead singer Phil Anselmo. "Cemetery Gates" showcases Anselmo's vocal ability and range, concluding with screaming high notes answered by Dimebag Darrell on guitar. The lyrics lament the death of a female relative or friend and the prospect of dying or committing suicide and rejoining her in the afterlife. Presumably, the song is fictitious and not based on any real acquaintance of the band.

  • The TRUTH behind this monster!

As reviewed by Dan on 5/14/2009

Well to start off..you can't judge this beast from the website. It is such a beautiful and detailed guitar I was unsure that it would even function as a guitar. Boy was I wrong..this thing played so nicely I couldn't believe my ears. I hooked it up to my peavy tube stack and the clean was pretty nice. I added in distortion from my seymour duncan twin tube mayhem distortion pedal (you have to play with it to understand how amazing it is) and it..was...AMAZING! Anyway..5/5 for this exquisite guitar. Definetly worth more than what I paid. Only thing I could say that's negative is the fact I didn't have a chance to use a NICE wah pedal with it. BUY IT NOW!!!!

  • One of the Best Metal Guitars for Sale!!!

As reviewed by Bobby on 8/19/2009

I've had this guitar about a month now, and it's still as sweet as the day it came. I was alittle skeptical (so was my friends) because of the price, but I loved the detail in it and it's sound, not to mention Pantera and Dimebag. I really love playing guitar so I thought I would need a guitar that would last me awhile. So I bought it and couldn't be happier. It has its own unique feeling to it, although it's alittle hard playing while sitting down but that doesn't matter one bit. It's probably the best guitar I will ever own. All I'm saying is if you're a fan of Dimebag or Pantera for that matter, and aren't afraid of spending alittle money that will take you very far, BUY IT!!!! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. TRUST ME, I thought I would and haven't even thought about regret.

As reviewed by austin on 7/22/2009

this guitar is one hell of a guitar, i played it in the outlet and couldnt stop, i came back the next day and played it again and i bought it over and ibanez xiphos! it sounds great, plays great, doesnt got that annoying tilt thing where the head of the guitar pushes down while your standing with it and it rubs your shoulder and burns, its comfortable, the neck is great to play on, the floyd rose just makes it even better, its got sweet graphics of cemetery gates one of the best pantera songs ever!!! RIP DIMEBAG!!
